Surprisingly Great Small EDC
UPDATE 11/8/20: Even though this is just 420 steel, it holds an edge surprisingly well. It lasted a 5 day work week breaking down cardboard boxes multiple times a day. It obviously sharpens very easily. I do wish that they had slightly contoured the handle at the end of the blade into a finger choil, but I don’t really have any major complaints. This knife will continue to be rotated in my EDC! INITIAL IMPRESSIONS: First things first: the blade is 420 steel, not AUS-8. Second, I am an amateur knife & multitool enthusiast/collector, and have above average knowledge of materials and manufactures. In the knife enthusiast world, post-2007-Acme-United-takeover Camillus isn’t a company that sparks much interest. Even so, for $10 and some change, this was hard to pass up. I also had the full size CUDA years back, so I was mildly familiar with the bespoke opening system. Even so, the CUDA opener on this knife is slightly different, but it hasn’t taken long to master. Actuation is now nice and snappy. The ball bearings provide smooth action, and the lightly textured handles provide a relatively solid purchase. Blade centering is spot on, lockup is rock solid, and there is no blade play whatsoever. Very impressive at this price point! One thing to know: this is a small knife! But don’t let that dissuade you; the ergonomics of the thicker handle fit my large sized hands just fine for EDC tasks. The narrow blade and swedge lend excellent piercing capabilities to this knife. Even though the jimping on the top of the blade sits below the handle scales when open, it actually grips and works well. The liner lock has caught the dead skin on my thumb a couple of times, but it’s not a problem for me. As for the pocket clip, I’m not usually a fan of tip-down carry, but it works with the CUDA mechanism. The fit is superb at this price point! Finish, however, not so much. It doesn’t affect function at all, and again, at this price, it’s a non-factor for me. Overall, my initial impressions of this knife are quite good! We shall see how it stands the test of time, and I will return with any relevant updates. Cheers!

It's a smidge too small for my hands
I dont have gigantic hands, somewhere between M and L. This knife is definitely worth the money and I end up carrying it more than any other but it's a tiny bit small. The large cuda is a bit too large, this one a bit too small. With the large you search for a good carry spot. With this small one you have to consciously think about how to hold it to open it. Leveraging the clip for traction helps but it requires mental orchestration.

High quality, low cost
I have quite a collection of pocket knives, collected over many years. I was looking for a decent quality, low cost knife figuring I’ll eventually pass it on to one of my grandchildren. I picked this one up because it is lightweight and appeared to be pretty well made. I’ve been carrying around for several months know and have been impressed at how well it holds an edge. It opens easily with one hand and feels good in the hand. At this price it is a no brainer. You won’t be disappointed.

I like smaller knives, Liked this one until it broke (three so far have broken)
Saw this on CRH YouTube, bought it right away. Not the easiest to open but fast as assisted if done right. I have not put it through tough use as I carry a Gerber box knife for the rough stuff. I like this knife for form and function and will carry it on the opposite pocket for when a nicer knife is preferred. UPDATE: Thumb knob comes loose, knife becomes junk. Not repaiable.

Great little every day carry knife.
Nice small, light, and thin knife .I also bought another model that looks the same but is a little more expensive, this one is just as nice for half the price. The opening is very fast ( takes a few tries to get used to opening it ). This is a nice little knife to carry for everyday use. It is inexpensive enough that if you lose it you won t be out a lot of cash.
