The birds love this seed cake
The first seed cake I received was very crumbled and falling apart. I returned it for a replacement which was in good condition. This seed cake is the larger size, not the Jr. The title is incorrect...it is more than 3-ounces, more like 2 lbs. The birds love this seed cake and the local pet stores have stopped carrying it.

attracts all the birds as advertised
while this was totally overpriced at its original price, at its current price it is perfect.Have been buying this product for several years now, and NEVER had a problem.Actually, I find it PERFECT in terms of price (now) and attraction/deterent. We have aserious problem with those nasty starlings around here. they will swarm and devour a regular suet cake in a few days. THIS type of seed cake they are totaly uninterested in, so we get the birds (especially 3 varities of woodpeckers) we want and keep away the birds we don’t want.

Broken cake
The cake was broken into many pieces. Giving 3 stars because a few pieces still fit in bird feeder cage.

not just for woodpeckers
variety of birds like this. I've had several types chow down on this even though I have several other type feeders such as trays or tubes. even a blue jay managed to get onto the small wire suet holder. this woodpecker type cake gets eaten faster than other type cakes I've tried.
