A terrific poultry free dry cat food!
I have a formerly dumpster diving feral cat that is allergic to all poultry products. He scratches up his back, loses his hair and is just generally miserable. I did some research into feline allergy triggers and one of the more common ones is a sensitivity to poultry! And what do most cat foods contain? That's right, chicken and chicken by products. After much experimentation (and a lot of failures), I've found that this kitty kibble works very well for him. It's reasonably priced, he likes the taste and it doesn't trigger any skin/stomach reactions. He now gets this kibble and the Fancy Feast Flaked Fish and Shrimp Feast wet food (also poultry free) and he's a happy kitty!

We switched both the dog and cat …
I used to buy my 7 year old cat Meow Mix but she would gained a lot of weight. She’s a long haired fat girl and her breed gains weight quickly in the winter and sheds the weight in The summer. Like a fat little bear. Her 13th year old brother dog Duke was switched per the vets instructions to a healthier alternative diet and recommended this brand and so we switched hers as well once we saw how well it did for our dog and his sensitive tummy. We noticed they both immediately loved the small size making it easy to chew. We also noticed their coat was shining more with less shedding and the dogs allergies were improving as he is a pit mix and his allergies just comes with the territory. We also noticed they both had less of a smell in their feces and urine. Can’t thank this brand enough for such great natural ingredients that have helped both the cat and dog and will never switch to any other brand. The price of the amount and quality of food that you get is a plus as it is inexpensive compared to other brands. I’ve tried switching our dog before and he refused to eat for a couple of days and would whine when he ate because he knew the consequences once digested my poor guy, but he took to this brand immediately. It was like he could smell the great ingredients and knew his tummy would handle it well. Completely worth the switch!

Great Healthy Cat Food
Excellent choice of cat food for cats. We have two, one of which is allergic to chicken. We love this company and the salmon and duck are both great options for our sensitive tummies at home.

Good quality, but my cat didn’t like it
The ingredients and overall quality seem great, and I appreciate the limited, grain-free formula. Unfortunately, my cat didn’t want to eat it. Also, the bag doesn’t reseal after opening, which makes storage less convenient. It might still work well for other pets with different tastes.

saved my cat
Out of nowhere, my indoor cat became REALLY sick. She could not keep her food down and her stools became loose and had a nightmarish foul smell. She was completely lethargic staring into space and seemed to be dying. She lost 3 of her 13 pounds in aweek and a half becoming really boney. My vet ran all kinds of tests but did not know what to do. She sent my cat home with some very expensive dry and wet food along with probiotics none of which my cat would not touch. I read the food labels and it was the same ingredients as what she'd eaten her whole life eating Iams. A grain based diet, likely GMO as well. Something about her condition and the docs prescribing probiotics reminded me of my own health issues so I googled GMO free cat food and came across a website with a cat that went thru exactly what my cat was. Tons of tests, no diagnosis, similar symptoms. The big issue seemed to be grains. We ourselves should not be eating a grain based diet. Nor should our animals, pets or food source animals. Grain acts like sugars in our intestines and can feed the bad bacteria overwhelming the intestinal balance. As well as causing other health issues. (high blood pressure, high blood sugar, high triglycerides, metabolic syndrome, diabetes, weight gain, auto immune issues, arthritis, inflammation, food sensitivities) Anyway the cat in the website had a near miraculous turn around in health from eating a Limited Ingredient Diet (no grain) dry cereal. So I tried this Natural Balance. And immediately my Skye started getting better. She gained her weight back, no throwing up, stools normalized, her coat better than ever as well as her energy. At 12 she has more spunk, piss and vinegar than she's had in years. It's like she's younger. Her whole life she used to tend towards being overweight and would seriously over eat so I would have to limit her food as she was frantic in her eating like she couldn't control herself. Same thing happened to me when my intestines became out of balance with chronic candida. The candida is screaming for carbs to multiply and grow which causes uncontrollable cravings. I craved carbohydrates like a junkie for heroin and could not control my carb consumption. I can now leave a full bowl out for her and she grazes without overeating. I wish my other cat Diesel would eat this food as I believe it is healthier than the grain based food she eats and it would simplify feeding of 2 cats on different diets. I also wish this food cost less but at least I find a better price here at Amazon than my local pet store.
