The Case of the Philosophers Ring Kindle Edition

This is an attempt to capture the contemporary Oxford and incorporate as many historic figures in it as possible. Of certain academic interest and it had provided me with a couple of very funny quotes.

This 1 star rating solely applies to the atrociously formatted Kindle book. Actually, there isn't much of any formatting at all, so that page numbers and headings appear in the middle of pages, and likewise for footnotes. Sentences break in the middle of lines and it also appears that some text is missing. Why do some publishers have so little regard for readers?

Light reading is always appropos occasionally and, when one's way of life is mostly steeped in thinking, a step backward into "what ifs" and "how comes" and "maybes" is welcome.Fiction about actual personages I find relaxing, offering a point of view, an aspect not heretofore considered, an insight, an "Aha!" moment.Such is this interesting book which I read in one day. I was entertained and educated, made a few notes, and felt good afterward.

A little gem. I first unearthed this in a public library many moons ago. A quirky, original tale with some great characters such as G.H.Hardy, Srinivasa Ramanujan Ludwig Wittgenstein and Annie Besant. Singular indeed.
