The product is by far the best absorbed I have tried, and no uneasy effect on the stomach (or liver, kidneys... like I know what is where in there). The bottle I got was a different color and size than expected, but who cares. It has a break line to split half for am and half for PM.As for DHEA, I have tried spray, but have no way to really know how much is absorbed, and tried pills that twisted my innards and felt toxic. This one is just great. Effect is what I expected.

These slow release versions are the best. They don't give me any bad side effects like the regular dhea pills. They do what the studies claim in me. I am a forever customer DON'T stop making these pills.

I've taken DHEA for nearly a decade, and it's been quite helpful in lifting my energy. In recent years, I've had some difficulty in gauging the proper dose. My preference is always to go with the minimal effective dose, and I've found sustained-release supplements to be helpful in that regard. DHEA is a prohormone and it's something you'll likely feel straightaway, particularly if you've not supplemented with it before. It's stimulating. And while the effects aren't anything as acute as caffeine, you're likely to feel a burst of energy, followed by tapering hours later. Obviously, sustained-release supplements will (ideally) meliorate the crash later in the day.I've been taking two tablets (50 m.g.) for several days, and it seems to to the job of 75/100 m.g. of my other supplements. The cost per dose is a bit higher than what I'm accustomed to paying, but my sense is that this might be easier on the body -- barring a spike in price, I'll likely stick with Nutricology.I have to say that most Nutricology products are quite expensive relative to their competitors, prohibitively so. They do seem to be a cut above other manufactures, but I can't say that I'm entirely wedded to their product line generally.

I can NOT emphisize too strongly that this product hurt me very badly. Worst DHEA I have ever taken. I have taken many kinds of time release DHEA for over 25 years with only positive results. However, when I took this DHEA I had very bad problems immediately after taking this product! So I stopped and waited for problems to get better. Then to be sure I took some more of this product and immediately had very bad problems again. Decided to wait again and tried again. After the third time with the same results I must conclude the product is ment to do this. (Can you say weaponized) I will be seeking a refund and will be interested in what the product manufacturers have to say. Maybe it is a bad batch but with today's product quality controls I can't believe this is anything other than them making a product to do harm! If you take this product good luck and God Bless!

I bought this at the recommendation of my physician. Not sure if it is doing what it's supposed to or not because I haven't had my blood work to see if the blood serum level is at a therapeutic level yet.

One of the few remaining time release DHEA out there. Dr recommended, this works for me.

I ordered this one as it says it has a slow releasing package (lipid matrix). I cannot tell if it is really slow releasing but one thing I FEEL I notice is that it doesn't seem to have the acute effect of having DHEA capsules from other companies. It might be slow releasing. No complaints.

This ended up being too strong for me, so my doctor recommended we switch to the 5mg. dosage. I feel great. This is one of those nutrients that doesn't do better by taking too much. Go easy.
