Perfect Fit!
As we all know from years of buying replacement parts for Fender guitars, the Asian (MIJ, CIJ, MIK) holes do not line up with the American & Mexican hole patterns. There's a good chance that two MIJ guards will not line up. That said, the aged white moto back plate fit perfectly on my 1988 Fender American Strat. It had a rectangular cutout and arrived in Fender packaging. Great product.

strong and great look
At $20 this is expensive for what it is, considering I bought the entire aged white pickguard for $40. But I won't review the product based on price since that really variesANYWAYS, it's very sturdy and I think it looks great. I put this on my olympic white strat and it matches very well. I bought the off white accessory kit to go along with this, and it matches the olympic white and this aged pearl look perfectly. The back plate that came with that accessory kit, the official Fender one, is very flimsy and low quality, so I'm glad I purchased this one.

Had a plain white back trem cover on my stratocaster. Bought the aged white moto backplate hoping to match the pick guard and to my surprise it was not only close but a perfect match in both color, size, and screw placement.

Personal taste like white pearl not aged for my taste
I bought both the white pearl and the aged white pearland for my personal taste like the plain white pearl withoutthe aged look. I gave it 5 stars the product was no issuesInstalled easy as the other one just personal taste. Plus haveBoth can switch it up if desired!Cheers
