Good for what it was, but NOT the same formula as before!
Ah, nostalgia. I can't tell you how freaking excited I was to see that, once more, Count Chocula, Frankenberry, and Boo Berry were available to buy! The sugar! The color! The flashback to my youth!Well, I'm here to say that, while these cereals were good for what they were and a nice sweet treat, they bear little resemblance to the old formula of these cereals. And trust me, I remember them WELL.Maybe the old formula had too many (yummy!) chemicals. Maybe it's just a matter of not being broke, but General Mills wanting to "fix it", anyway. But, it's almost like going from Coke to New Coke. Okay, not THAT horrific, but you get the gist!"Old" Count Chocula's cereal - the same for Boo Berry and Frankenberry - was of a different consistency. And, unlike the current version, it was not just different colors but the same cereal. No, Count Chocula lived up to its name! Not only was the cereal chocolatey, so too were the marshmallows. "Old" Frankenberry followed suit, strawberry cereal (a deep pink color - almost a rose color versus the neon pink of now) and pink strawberry-flavored marshmallows. And, finally, "Old" Boo Berry was...well...blue. Maybe unnatural. But bah, natural is overrated! It *was* blue with a blueberry flavor and light blue blueberry-flavored marshmallows! While "new" Frankenberry and "new" Count Chocola kept the cereal color, the marshmallows have lost the distinct flavor of the cereal it was for and are "just" marshmallows, and have different colors than the original. And "new" Boo Berry is now a dark purple, with white marshmallows with blue, no longer "blueberry" flavored. Not to say, if it was any other cereal, it was "bad", but it is NOT what I stuffed into my little kid body in the '70s. Bummer. :-( (And I have ZERO recollection of Frute Brute or Yummy Mummy! Fakers! Ahem!)I guess it's true. You can't go home again. The kid in me weeps for the old formula, sad that it's just gone. :-(But if you're not as anal retentive and just want the thrill of a sugar rush, these cereals still do the job.At least Lucky Charms hasn't forsaken me yet!

So nostalgic. If u grew up on these its the Same cereal. Delicious!
I grew up on these cereals so finding them in Canada is such a gift! They are not expired and they dont expire until later in 2020. They taste just as I remember. I haven't seen these in Years & the nostagia alone is so enjoyable. They arrived fast, on time. I will def buy again!

2 out of 3 ain't bad... I guess.
As others have said. The flavor has changed. I'm sure over the years they've tweaked stuff and changed recipes, but man , is this stuff bland... Frankenberry is devoid of any real flavor, and Boo Berry squeaks by with a little resemblance to blueberry, Count Chocula atleast tastes like chocolate. Feel free to indulge in the nostalgia, just get ready to disappoint your taste buds.

What's not to like
I purchased the 3 pack for my daughter and her college housemates! Didn't last long. Long standing tradition for Halloween. They loved the variety of the 3 kinds.

Product as expected
Can't go wrong ordering cereal, especially when you cannot get any of these three in stores unless it's around Halloween. I got this as a smaller part of a Christmas gift for someone who only likes count chocula, the four star rating is because the cereal boxes were all taped together at the top with packing tape making it impossible to separate them clean and neatly. I cut the tape in between the boxes, but it just ended up looking sloppy.
