Oh My God Its Bright! So Bright I Thought I Died And Went To Heaven!
OK, first I want to begin by saying that this light is POWERFUL. Think of it like the portal to heaven opening up, and its blinding white light beams down into your home. When you run this thing on full power, you feel like you need to wear sunglasses its so bright!Taking this thing out of the box, I immediately noticed how big it is, its bigger then any of the smaller LED work lights that you can buy. From what I could tell, the paint job on all the metal parts seems to be brand new and shows no signs of use, I did buy a new product afterall! However, there are noticeable scratches on the backface where the product information is. Additionally, there were fingerprint smears on the front lens, which I had to clean before use. If this is indeed a new product, then there is some miner QC issues going on.Assembly is super simple. Only one fastener is required to assemble the base to the light, using the included knob bolt. This light can be tilted up or down, and can swivel 360 degrees. It uses a 3-prong electrical cord, so this won't work in a 2-prong outlet or extension cord without using an adapter first. Also, it uses a 3-way switch, the center position is off, one side is LOW power, and the other side is HIGH power. When you put the light in LOW mode, its not that impressive, probably around the 2500-lumen range. But when you put the light in HIGH mode, its 6000-lumen's in your face! You better grab your sunglasses cause you just might need them, don't burn your retinas looking directly at the light either! And I wouldn't stand directly in front of the light too long with bare skin exposed, you might end up getting a sun tan.I ran it on HIGH for about 10-minutes, and the most it got was warm in the heat sink, didn't even get hot. The cooler the LED's are able to run at, the longer they will last, so it does appear to have a quality heat sink, that is big enough to handle the load. This unit feels very durable to me, I think it will last a long time. And it doesn't really weigh a lot either, unlike halogen lights which can get very heavy. If you need a powerful light to illuminate a whole area, either for doing work, or for emergencies, this would be the perfect light. Its certainly not the cheapest of lights, but for the money, you really do get what you pay for. Having said that however, if you just need a little light for doing work inside your house, you can probably save some money and buy a smaller light for 20 bucks. But if you really need heaven's light knocking on your door, this light will certainly get the job done. Highly recommended 5 out of 5 stars!

Compact, sealed, safe, bright and very rugged
I bought this plug-in work lamp for some awful, hot, dusty work in my attic. My regular clamp-light with a super bright (5k lumen) LED bulb would get really hot -- with dust flying everywhere in a tinder-dry space that ain't good -- so I got this as a precaution. It is small but heavy duty, very bright and entirely sealed -- even the switch is sealed! This made it perfect for the purpose. More importantly, it does not get hot. It has a thick steel casing with ridges at the back that help dissipate the heat. Even on high in a hot attic it only got mildly warm. Sealed, bright and rugged.I have a feeling this might be the last plug-in work lamp I ever have to buy.

Good
This is a nice, bright work light. Not heavy. Easy to adjust and of course having LEDs it barely gets warm, unlike my old halogens.

All the "good" reviews and I'm sorry I bought it
OK , I see that Amazon has my first purchase of this light as me buying the 50w version .Which is not correct . I have the 60w version .Now to the NEW 50w version . It appears things have changed and the new light is smaller (in size) weights less(a noticeable difference) . To all that replied to my question , Thanks . This light does and will work with a 220v power source(What I have here in Brazil) After reading the replies to my question and then going to the Mfg'er site ,checking the instruction sheet that comes with the light . I can only see a difference of the plug . It does and is made to work at the 2 different voltages . Nice ,since the light itself has no marking on it to tell you it does .I used the light to cook BBQ a few night ago and I can't see much difference between the 50w and 60w versions as to how much light you get from it . The new 50w is (imo) better because it is easier to hang up and have it light up what you need to see . It give excellent lighting to cook by and was able get get an excellent result . I've used these lights inside to project light in whole rooms to do work that needed "better' lighting to get the job done correctly ,the first time .I am hoping this 1 lasts longer . Only the power cord became an issue on the first light and is still working ,beyond that issue . I just need to cut out the short and re-solder the cable . I admit , I am a bit lazy for not doing this and used the excuse to buy a second light . I want 2 light to get better overall coverage.Still , at the price , these light are a good purchase . Go for it ,of you are needing 1 . Packaging is very good as mine got to me (in Brazil) in perfect condition and worked as it should without issue. The only thing I would say I can see needing an improvement would be, having an optional stand for these lights. Other than that , these are a fairly heavy duty built light that preforms well and worth the price .

Brilliant Light
This light is better than the old-style halogen work light. Does not put off the heat that Halogen lights do and you don't have the concerns of burning yourself when adjusting the direction of the light. The dual brightness, allows you some adjustability.

Little cutie!
This was smaller than I thought it would be, but I only bought one..thats all I need. It is bright and light! So no need for a lot of space to store when not in use. Direct the light so you don't have to look at it...it reflects back and makes it so much easier when painting rooms. I would buy again if I needed. It is sturdy and I use it for painting rooms. I like the good cord it comes with..not chintzy at all. And it does not get hot..that that is a huge plus!!!
