Q: Does this fit a 2018 long wheel base Mitsubishi Shogun?

That is the same vehicle that I fitted my door stop to, so YES is the answer. Simple to fit but you will need 25 minutes and a 1\2-inch socket set to undo 4 existing bolts at each end, one on chassis and other on door. Unit comes with new brackets already on- be careful to replace them correctly, as they have an angle to match the car body. Suggest lay the new one next to existing BEFORE it removed, you can then see how the new one should be fitted. You will find the existing bolts tough to undo (WD40 spray), hence decent socket set (spanners could be OK but one bolt is hard to get to with a spanner. Other mention, and I am sorry I can't recall which end must be fitted first. I did the wrong one, tightened the bolts and then found that the gas strut hides one of the bolts holes on the other end. Maybe check out how you remove the old one and fit the new one in reverse order. Great product and a fraction of the cost of makers.
