Superb! Order 1 to 1.5 sizes UP if between sizes or have wide feet like me — they'll still be cute!
Such great boots! I wear a 7 or 7.5 and have very wide feet. I almost got Size 8 in these but then read other reviews and thought better of it ... and ordered Size 9s despite my dread of how giant and clunky and hideous they would be. The 9s fit PERFECTLY and are in fact the same length and width and chunkiness as my Size 7.5 Sorel winter boots. I think with the octopus lining they are actually a little bit cute! In fact, I walked around the house with these Xtratuf boots on for about an hour before I looked at the box and saw (and remembered) I got 9s instead of 8s — that's how normal-sized they look. I can wear my normal winter socks with these or just light socks and both ways are fine ... More importantly though — so far these are also totally waterproof to let me get to our boat (and stay dry) when the docks are flooded from high water (as they are now all over the Great Lakes). I also find them to be just as "grippy" as my trampoline neoprene rubber-bottomed booties for sail racing — and these Xtratuf boots don't leave marks on our topsides either. I will be interested to see how the grippiness remains as the boots wear. So far so good!

Comfy, durable, slip-resistant, and cute? Sold.
I love the partnership with Salmon Sisters to make these XTRATUFs a little eXTRA special... 😂 And for whatever reason, this women's specific version is cushier than the original men's sized version (no complaints here, but my boyfriend is jealous). I live out of these boots. If they aren't on my feet, then they're by my door or in my car ready for whatever the day holds - whether it be a walk through a mucky job-site or field while scouting for ducks, crabbing, a trip to the beach with my dogs, or just the short trek to get some firewood from the woodshed (I live where it's wet outside more often than not). I typically wear a 6.5 or 7 in other shoes like Nike, and went with a 7 in these. I can wear thick wool socks with them, and they fit comfortably.

They are amazing
The thing that's shocked me the most about these amazing boots was I didn't even have to put socks on to walk around in the snow and my feet did not get cold. I do wear socks with them but the first couple times I wore them I didn't. I just went out to the mailbox and back. These boots are awesome.

Great boots for winter
Keep my feet dry and warm during rain and snow. Fits well too. The slip resistant is a great feature for frosty mornings. Love these boots.

True to size and made well
I have worn rubber boots my whole life, but these are by far the best pair I have ever owned. I have large feet for a woman and have a hard time finding boots that will fit me. These are true to size and very well made. I love how you can fold them down to make them short if you don't need all of the boot. You can even dress the outfit up since there is a print on the inside! Lastly, the grip on the sole is for real. I live where there is a lot of ice and I never worry about slipping when I have them on.

Sizing Needs to be Clarified
The boots are great: waterproof, warm, and stylish! I wore them inside for about 30 minutes with thin socks and my feet got too warm! The only problem with them is the sizing is hard to figure out. These are women's boots, but the sizing chart is unisex - I take a 9.5 in general shoes/40 in Birkenstocks/41 in Danskos/10 or 11 in Pull-on Boots depending on the boot. I ordered these in a 9, because of the way they seemed to be on the chart equal to 43 Euro, which would be close to a women's 11. Nope. The 9 is a Women's 9. And it was clearly marked as such on the box. They were snug and a bit narrow, so I had to return them. They weren't terribly, terribly tight, so I'm ordering a 10 rather than 11. Fingers crossed. Would be great for Xtratuf to update/clarify their sizing chart.

True to size-good quality--and CUTE!!
I bought these boots to traipse around in the mud and rain with my dog during our frequent Washington rains and I am soooo excited. I just got my boots yesterday, I wear a size 11 and they fit perfectly (true to size.) I'll be able to wear a thicker pair of socks without my feet feeling completely squished, but it might be a smidge snug if you're planning on wearing super thick socks--not sure yet. The top of the boot is tight to the calf (hence the 4 stars), especially if you tuck your pants in so they don't get wet. (I have softball calves.) However, since these are fishing boots, I imagine that it makes sense that that calves are tighter so water doesn't come in from the top if you're wearing waders??? It's not uncomfortably- cut off your circulation tight, but it does make the ankle area feel pretty loose when the calf is so securely snug in place. (I have issues with tight fitting items so I'll update later if it becomes an issue.) Not sure if that was the intent with the design or if they just have smaller calves. If not, I'd like to make a suggestion to the company that they increase the circumference of the top of the boot by just a few cm--then they'd be perfect. The boots are soft and flexible, there is a nice little bit of cushion in the sole, not like other brands/types of rain boots. These feel like they are made to last. Since I've gone through 5 pair of rain boots in 6 years, I'm really looking for longevity and comfort. I'll update after a few months or so. **Their packaging specifically (and the boots, a little) do have a rubber smell so if you're sensitive to chemical scents, toss the box and wrapping fast and let the boots off gas for a day outside, in the sun if possible. I have MCS and once I got rid of the box and plastic it came in, I was fine. The boots are sitting inside by the door and the smell has not bothered me.
