The man cave is sports related and is in the basement. There's a small room at the bottom of the stairs leading to his cave, so we wanted the small room to look like a locker room. Problem is- lockers are hard to find and ridiculously expensive. This hall tree was in the search results, and I liked the industrial look to it. We felt like it looked very similar to the open lockers found on his team's locker room per the online pics. A helmet can't fit in each of the top sections, but mini helmets can. And jackets hang on the hooks just like the players' lockers.It's very large and very heavy. The wood feels real, although I did not check to see if it was mdf or not. The metal parts are very strong and sturdy. It is a one person job putting it together and it took a little over 2 hours. The only difficulty I had was putting the baskets together- the holes didn't line up for one screw on both baskets. The baskets are still sturdy enough without the screws, fit perfectly where they belong, and slide easily in place. We love it.

Beautiful and sturdy! I've had lots of complaints on this piece. Storage is perfect for what I need! Would definitely recommend.

Absolutely perfect for our hallway by the garage

Love it! Rustic with the wood color and metal combination. It was easy to assemble and is very sturdy..it took me an hour to assemble....due to running after my 4 small kids while putting it together:)
