I installed under awning by wall (in track). Slightly tricky to get it in as the end has a slight curve to it. Lights are VERY dim, about 1/3 of what the original awning lights were. These would be great accent lights, as they're lousy lights to light up the area.

The lights arrived non-functional.

Mine stopped working after three or four uses power converter box quit. When it did work you can’t leave it in the tube because you can’t disconnect the wire near the tube only at the converter box

Lasted about 3 uses. {hour or so each time} Cant seem to get any return info. ??

Its shame they dont offer different sizes, my awning was 14FT long so i ended up using some clear proflex rv sealant to stick the excess to the outside awning arm mount running down the side of the door. It might be a bit hoaky but it does provide a little more light on the one side. My biggest gripe about these is that even though they are advertised to fit inside the awning channel, the LED's within the PVC tube these are contained in are twisted in different directions...meaning some LED's are facing towards the back of the RV and there is no reflector to redirect the light. At any rate i cut the end off and soldered it into the existing 12V wiring and it works fine. They did in fact fit in the awning channel and are held securely, they could have been better though if all the LEDS were facing the same direction.

It's exactly what I was looking for. I wish it would come in different lengths tho I made it work for my TV.

was 6" too long for my aplication....not worth the moneycheap junk
