TajimaLC-500 Auto Lock Utility Knife with Three 3/4" - 8 Point Endura Blades

A very sturdy knife, that I have been using for multiple purposes. It is solidly built and the blades are very sharp. I really like the dial lock feature, as it keeps the blade very secure in the handle with none of the wiggling or movement that you get with all of the slide-lock designs. It gives the secure feel of a fixed blade utility knife with the safety and convenience of an retractable blade. The only flaw I have found, is that the dial lock is rather large, and if you are left handed it can get in the way of your grip and be a bit uncomfortable, especially for those with smaller hands.Overall, if you are right handed, this utility knife is much better than the typical ones that you will find at the local hardware store

Great knife however the auto lock function will get stuck after continuous use. i go through 20 of these a year at work. The tajima blades are the best in the market and last along time and will stay sharp.

Just bought a couple of these for work and they are great. They have some heft which makes them feel solid and when holding them in your hand (I'm right handed) they just fit right. Would recommend them to anyone wanting a good box cutter.

Stay away from all the cheap knives and blades, The Tajima blades last twice as long as others.The auto lock on the knife really will auto lock .

On the same category, i've been using for years both Tajima and Olfa and i have to say, this is much, much better than Olfa's.Same durability (both), excellent, fast and durable auto-lock mechanism (both), but Tajima's come with better grip, a simple built-in blade cutter and extra space that holds 2 spare blades. Little features that make this 100x better and more useful.
