I Love Swatch Watches, they're practical and fun. This one is beautiful, and yes, Very Dark. The time is easy to read, but the day/date isn't, except in precisely direct light. I don't mind that, since it's part of the 'mystique' of the watch. It's also very light weight, and the band is incredibly comfortable. I forget it's on my wrist! An interesting, quality timepiece from a reliable company. Rebel!

Nice, lightweight watch, but it is very difficult to read. The face isn’t as clear as it appears in the product photo, and the date function is pretty much useless since it isn’t visible in an light you might realistically be in. Nice for a discreet timepiece though.

This is the quintessential SWATCH, simple quality just like my first onie in 1987. I give it ten stars!!! I noticed some people said that it felt light with cheap plastic, but obviously never owned a swatch before. This is built the same as the older ones, and you also ordered black on black, what did you expect? Also noticed people complaining about the date window. All I have to say about that is, if you don't know what day it is you're probably high on drugs, or just plain stupid!!! I however love mine because I knew what to expect... I plan on getting more in different colors.

Made like the white-on-white-on-white version, except black, this watch is a beauty. Unlike the WWW model, it *is* impossible to read the day/date in anything but the brightest, most direct light. But telling time isn't a problem. Best of all, the watch face doesn't appear to be pure black - it seems to be a midnight blue. Very happy with it - and like the white version, people comment on it constantly.

Liked the style of the watch, even though the day/date was virtually unreadable except at an awkward straight-on view in direct light. And the band was very comfortable. For me the killer is that the day would not set after the first day. Plus the watch arrived with no battery cover. However, I have to say that any watch Amazon fulfills is worth a try due to a stellar return policy and system.

Looks great and I get lots of compliments on it! The date is too dark to read but i don't care about that at all.

I am a big fan of minimalism and found the solid black styling of the watch very appealing. While I like the "look" of this watch on me, I was surprised by the cheap materials used at this price point. The body is a very light plastic, the bulbous cover reminds me of the tops of $0.25 toy machine capsules, and the silicone band is comfortable but very flimsy and unsubstantial. In short, if you had told me this watch cost $9.99 I would believe you.There are some usability issues as well--I find the watch quite difficult to read in most lighting conditions and the date is completely unreadable as far as I can tell.If this is the exact look you're going for it may be worth the money, but personally I think you're better off looking at other pieces.

This Swatch watch looks quite stunning to me. I've owned approximately 10 Swatch watches over the years, and this one rates near the top! I find the all black design perfect--both all purpose and dressy! Sure, it's a challenge to read the time at a glance, but I should likely slow down and smell the roses! However, I do find the small all black date names and numbers virtually impossible to see, so I cannot set the date with any confidence or accuracy. I'm not too chagrined by this development, but I'd be remiss not to mention it. I'd buy this watch again, if my opinion matters:)

Wanted a swatch watch because it was all the craze when I was a kid. It did not disappoint, sleek look and feel. Love the classic ticking sound
