THIS IS ONE GREAT ENGINE!
I'm a big fan of all O.S. engines and have several. The 46AX however is my favorite. Easy starting, good idle and transition and really powerful. With the correct prop putting it into the rated RPM it will amaze you with it's pulling power.

Tough to tune, but runs well now. Unfortunately Mustan is destroyed. Can't enjoy it right now

Great engines for 40 size rc planes.
I have always used OS engines and the OS 46ax II is easy to break in, adjust, and fly. The main needle is also easy to reach as it is angled back away from the propeller to give more clearance. I bought two of these for a twin engine plane and they both work good.

DO NOT BUY!
Engine is impossible to tune. Always stops running when throttle applied. Do not waste your time or money on this stupid engine!
