PepperellSMK-3-01 1.8mm Stretch Magic Bead and Jewelry Cord, 3m, Clear

I use this to make bracelets. It’s nice and stretchy and very strong. It makes the bracelets more durable and they last merry ch love Nuer.

These are big for most beading applications, but they are perfect for tying up things around the home or for the holidays when you don't want the string to show! It's clear and easy to tie for that purpose, so I keep buying it. More expensive than regular string of course, but super heavy-duty and great for outdoors on mailbox or lamp posts!

I make wreaths and floral arrangements. This product is worth its wait in gold to me. It's very difficult to find this size as, it sells out the minute it hits store shelves. Great product!

The most reliable

I have purchased the cord for my younger kids from a local store. The cord was great until we tried to tie a knot on it. It is impossible! :(

I've used thinner versions of Stretch Magic, and they work great, so I tried this thicker one (1.8mm) to make a bracelet using larger beads. Big disappointment. This stuff is so thick, it's stiff. It barely stretches at all. When you try to tie a knot, it keeps untying itself because the cord is so thick, stiff and smooth. Even with glue, it was very difficult to get the knots to stay knotted.Also, the point of a stretch bracelet is that you should be able to stretch it to slip your hand through it to put it on and take it off, and when it's on your wrist, it's snug. But this stuff just doesn't stretch enough, so it's a struggle to get your hand through it. Very, very disappointing.
