The shapes of the continents were much better than I anticipated. It can't be easy to form hundreds of countries into a recognizable globe, but they did it. If you are expecting it have perfectly outlined continents and countries, don't buy this. I find it more interesting that they are not perfect. From a distance, you hardly notice. This is almost a centerpiece in my living room, and it earns that spot. I turned one of my overhead display lights onto it, and the soft amber glow on this beautiful, shining surface is awe inspiring every evening.

The media could not be loaded. This globe is stunning! I bought it for my husband for Christmas for his office. He loves it!!!

This was an incredible gift to a dear friend. He decorated his office with it. The use of polished stones to create this was very creative. This is a gift you can use as house warming, a new business owner, or someone with a prestigious office.

Product as described. Gorgeous atop a display pedestal. But, as cautioned, not suitable for educational purposes.

This was a gift for my husband and he loved it! It's hard to find a gemstone globe that doesn't cost a fortune, so this was a great find. It looks great and was as described in the listing.

Everything was nice about this globe. Material, craftsmanship, etc. It's major downfall was "cubism" of most small countries.
