I have tried two other types of "hair catcher" products, that never solved the issues.With two people in the house that have very long, thick hair, we needed something to fix the issues of our drain getting clogged quickly. I also wanted something that would not restrict draining water at all.This product is perfect! It really does catch all the hair from the first use, and is super easy to clean off. It also does not restrict the draining water even a little.I measured our standard drain from the inside of one edge to the inside of the other, it measures 2 inches. The TubShroom fit perfectly straight out of the package.I also like the satinless steel as it matches the aesthetic of the tub hardware and is easy to clean.I only wish I had ordered this years ago!

It works well so far. Only had it for maybe two week. I had the old silicon one and that worked great. This one fits much better and looks so much better.It seems study and doesn't wiggle around like the first generation. A little water does pool around it, but it could just be my drain, as I need to clean it out. At any rate, its not much pooling to be a problem.I actually was buying the plug for whhen my baby niece comes to visit.For the price, ease of use, and good function of catching hair and other things I feel like this purchase is a no brainer. I expect it to remove as much hair as the first generation one. Not enough time has passed for that, but if it fails I will be back to change my review.I love that it has that metal chrome look instead of that white silacone plastic material. It looks so much better.

Worked as expected. Does a great job of catching hairs so they don’t go down the drain. Fit our water drain perfectly. No issues with water flow and seems sturdy. Worth the price.

Redhead with long curly hair, I shed a lot. We bought this to help catch it and it does work well. However, we have to clean it often because it will not drain water quickly enough after 2 showers, not sure if that's a me thing or a design thing. Overall sturdy, catches hair, fits perfectly in our drain but does get stopped up quickly.

Hands down the most useful purchase I’ve made for my house in a while! I have very thick hair that sheds when I comb it out in the shower and clogs the drains constantly, but I’ve not had a single clog since using this thing. I comes with different size gaskets so you can get the best fit for your drain, is very easy to clean and disinfect, and does not restrict water drainage. Highly recommend!

I have long hair and have been using this for months and it works! Genuinely traps the hair. I have had issues in the past with my shower clogging and so far it's been okay. Also very easy to clean out, I clean mine every time I wash my hair. I have an older shower drain that isn't in the best condition and it fits just fine.
