Easy to read and understand
I ordered this to help with basic rabbit care. A great beginner book, easy to read and understand. Alot of helpful information. I loved it so much I bought one of these books for other animals too.

Very helpful.
The book came fast in the mail. I gave it to a young neighbor girl, just starting out in 4-H. She is very happy with the book, and received champion junior rabbit showman and reserve champion for her rabbit!

A fair start
My daughters joined the FFA. Suddenly we had 9 little rabbits that did not come with instructions. Bought this book to help us. It was a a fair start but we found most of our information from on line sources.

Two Stars
Though the book arrived on time, I found it more teenage friendly not child friendly.

Awesome Resource for All Ages
This book is a wonderful starter guide for the new rabbit owner. I read it when I was eight years old and loved it, so don't believe those saying it's not kid-friendly. No it's not a picture book - the description makes that clear. It's intended for children who want to learn and take responsibility for their pets! I still reference it from time to time, because the information is great for kids and adults alike.

Wonderful book for children interested in the world of breeding and showing
I have read through this book several times at rabbit shows, and various places where it has been offered for sale. This book is a wonderful read for children interested in breeding and showing rabbits. It talks about breeds that are easy for children to handle, and how to properly breed and show them. It also teaches proper animal husbandry. This is a book that every 4h, ffa, and ARBA youth member should read. Contrary to the negative comments that were left about it, it is not abuse. Nor does it teach it. It is different, and offers an alternative way to keep your rabbit. This book is not geared towards keeping altered rabbits as house pets, because you can't show an altered pet per ARBA rules. This is for those interested in showing their animal, anbd breeding high qulaity, purebred rabbits. I see hundreds of thousands of rabbits, shown by kids, at any given weekend at shows. Many of these animals are kept as beloved pets. None of them are abused. Breeders, esp children, that abuse their bunnies are few and far between.
