A solid collection, great to start the Apollo series off with
As a longtime fan of Rick Riordan's work, I was eager to dive into the Trials of Apollo, The 3-Book Paperback Boxed Set. And let me tell you, it did not disappoint. This series is a wild ride that's full of surprises, and I had a blast reading it.What sets this series apart is its humor. Apollo, the god who's been cast down to earth in the form of a teenager, is just as witty and sarcastic as you'd expect a deity to be. He's quick with a one-liner and isn't afraid to use his powers of prophecy to get out of sticky situations. And the supporting characters are equally entertaining. There's a Roman demigod who's always getting into trouble and a mortal daughter of Aphrodite who's not afraid to speak her mind. But the humor isn't just for show - it's a key part of the story. The Trials of Apollo tackles some heavy themes, like sacrifice and self-discovery. But the humor lightens the mood and makes these themes more accessible. It's like Rick Riordan is saying, "Yeah, life can be tough, but it's also pretty hilarious sometimes."And the action! Oh, the action. The series is full of epic battles and nail-biting escapes. Rick Riordan is a master of pacing, and he knows just when to throw in a twist or a cliffhanger to keep you hooked. In short, the Trials of Apollo, The 3-Book Paperback Boxed Set is a wild, hilarious, and epic ride. I can't recommend it enough. Just don't be surprised if you find yourself quoting Apollo's one-liners long after you've finished reading.

Really fun!
Awesome series, but keep this in mind, there are two more books in the series after, the tyrants tomb, and the tower of Nero. Also some people don't know this but there are two other book series you are supposed to read before this, first is percy jackson and the olymians, heroes of olympus, then the trials of apollo. They are all by rick riordan.

Should have gotten the full set!
We are on the third book of this series right now and we are loving it. Apollos mortal character Lester is well developed and this series brings together so many of the other Rick Riordan books focusing on Greek and Roman mythology. My kids and I use his books as night time read aloud and it’s been awesome.

A bit boring.
I've been a Riordan fan for a very, very long time now. Trials of Apollo is the first of his books that I didn't finish in under a week. The narrator is very entertaining at first, but as the story gets more intense, the narration gets less funny. The new characters are decent and the lgbtq representation is really great to see, of course. Overall, Trials of Apollo is good, just a bit slower than I expected.

Love the books
The Trials of Apollo: The Hidden Oracle is the book where it all begins, the journey of Apollo. The God of the Sun is cast down from Olympus by none other than his father God of the Sky, Zeus. In order to get back to Olympus, he has to protect the Oracle hidden away for millennia. The Trials of Apollo: The Dark Prophecy is the second book of the series The Trials of Apollo. Apollo, accompanied by Leo Valdez and Calypso, must find the Oracle form ancient times. To make things even more difficult, a Roman emperor, a member of Triumvirate, stands in their way. Both the books written by Rick Riordon are nothing less than pure work of art. His writing style describes the events to perfection; the pain of Apollo being a mortal and dealing with being cast down form Olympus. In order to gain his former godly glory back, Apollo must go through some trails and free the Oracles in the clutches of Triumvirate.
