Have a small kitchen & this works perfect for making more room on our countertops. It’s actually pretty sturdy. I have a microwave & toaster oven stacked on the middle racks. Good product.

I ordered one and liked it so much that I bought a second one. Handsome and sturdy. But there is a critical piece of information missing from the directions. The schematic shows the uprights going together followed by bolting the shelves to pre-tapped holes. This is easy enough, but you need to orient the uprights correctly because they have a front and back. You want the four tapped X brace holes to be on the same side so at the end you can attach the X braces. If you do not do this and put it together without, you could end up not being able to install the X braces without taking it apart and redo it again. The X brace holes are small so you have to look carefully. It is just a first world problem but most people prefer to assemble new shelves once and move on to other things. Five stars for the shelf itself, and they lost a star due to incomplete directions.

Some previous buyers said the shelf was a bit difficult to assemble. I found that being organized, taking your time and paying attention resulted in a product that was fairly easy to assemble. It looks nice in my home and is sturdy enough to hold probably 70-90 pounds of jewelry beads and their cases. My only bit of advice is: when assembling the upright (side) pieces, pay attention to the holes for the cross pieces that go on the back of the unit. It will save you some time and effort. By the way, I am a 57 year old woman with a less than stellar back. It took me maybe 45 minutes to assemble it by myself.

I’m so glad I chose this one. I almost bought all metal ones but the reviews on sturdiness made me buy this one. I love how it looks and it’s really sturdy too. Takes a little bit to put it together but the everything is labeled well and easy instructions too.

I’m pretty happy with my purchase. It wasn’t too difficult to assemble, but some of the screws took a lot of muscle in order to “catch” and begin tightening. Also, the instructions aren’t super clear on how to specifically position the two black rails so that the little holes for the “x” cross at the back of the shelves line up. I had to take it apart and start over because I realized that I laid one of the rails facing the wrong way and one hole for the “x” was on the front of the piece and the other was on the back. Other than that little mishap, putting this together was a breeze and the end result is very sturdy and good looking. It doesn’t feel or look cheap and dainty. So, I’m happy with it.
