The install of them is fairly simple: slide underneath the front of the truck, remove two horizontal bolts on each side, insert the hook through the front of the bumper, reattach the two bolts and vertically attach the third bolt which comes with the hook. Easy. There is a direction sheet which explains everything.A couple of things about the hooks.First: You really do want to torque them to spec, 80 ft/lbs and 63 ft/lbs respectively on the various bolts, don't just haul on the bolts until you think they're tight enough because 80 is a fairly stiff torque. These are tow hooks and you don't want to mess around on the install if you ever need to use them. So you will need a torque wrench. Or you could just wing it, whatever, some people might say no big deal, your mileage may vary.Second: Anti-seize the bolts. These things are Ground Zero for dirt, snow, salt, and water, the bolts could use a little friendly lube in case you ever need to take them off. Not required but every time I add something to my vehicles on the exterior I either anti-seize or Loctite the bolts or screws depending on their function. You're already there, might as well do some preventative maintenance.Third: If your particular RAM has the bumper filler panel (plastic strip covering the access area on lower bumper) you are going to need to cut away the hook openings on either side of the panel. They aren't marked or factory prepared for removal, you'll have to get on them with a tool and do the work yourself. I used a Dremel cutting wheel, then a edge cutter, then a file to make it clean and precise. The plastic is a bit too thick for a razor knife and forget about a scissors, not happening. You do have the option of buying a precut filler piece online, they go for about $50 on Ebay, but it took me 20 minutes to do it. The panel itself is held on with a dozen or so plastic push pins, install and reinstall is simple.One last word on the packaging. Considering these things are heavy metal I would have thought there would be some care in their packaging, I was wrong. Both hooks were in a box with the direction sheet but without any padding whatsoever, not even a sheet of cardboard separating them, so they got knocked around and there was some scraping of the paint. I hit them with a quick shot of flat black spray paint and good to go, but it was a bit of bother before install. (this is the missing star for the review)All in all these are some heavy duty hooks, I have no doubt they will perform if I ever need them and they add an extra bit of visual muscle to an already tough looking truck. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fawsome *by S***I on Reviewed in the United States πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ on December 5, 2016* These tow hooks are incredible. They are nice and sturdy and come with everything that's needed including directions for those who are not entirely sure how to install these. They have been on my truck for nearly a year now and do not have any signs of corroding. I have used them a number of times with straps on them to pull people out of sticky situations from both snow and mud.
