River's Edge Embossed Tin Road Crossing Signs

Looks cool. I was thinking of hanging this in the basement.Upon opening, the sign is tightly wrapped in bubble wrap and then another layer of tightly wrapped plastic. It definitely is thin a bit flimsy so don't expect a thick sturdy sign. You could easily bend it while taking it out of the plastic wrap if your rushing.It also is a bit more shiny than I expected. To describe the shine, it looks as if it was dipped in a high gloss polyurethane. The claw marks stamped in the tin and are raised for a textured feel and the outside black border around the sign is raised as well.The sign has two mounting holes, top and bottom, as seen in the picture and you may want to use them to keep the sign more flush against the wall. With the top and bottom mounting holes being used the sign may still not sit flush at the left and right sides because of the lack of rigidness. Of course you could drive two tacks or small nails through the sides and solve that issue.Overall though its nice for the price and would be great for a kids room, garage, basement or workshop.

Great addition to my boy's John Deere theme'd room. This is a typical thin metal replica type sign... it is just as it appears in picture and the holes go all the way through... they are NOT just pictures of holes. The dents around the holes are raised slightly, matching the paint enhancement of the bullet hole. Great light-weight tin sign that if it fell off the wall when my 7 year old is "being a wild boy" in his room, there is no real risk of injury if it fell on him. Holes are present for mounting with nails. Great item & a cheap addition to John Deer type decorations.Ladies!!!! Get this for your man as a cool "Man Cave" or garage sign... cool stuff!

The crossing sign is nicely constructed and finished with your choice of critter. The edges are not simply punched, but also bent back over to offer a safer edge. I would have given it a 5, except for a problem with how it was represented. The Amazon description says looks good indoors or out, which is technically true. You can mount this outside and it will take quite a long time for it to rust. Mine had been mounted to a tree facing Northwest since July 2013. It lasted about 6 months, and the colors have faded. The paint/finish clearly has is not UV rated. So this sign although can be placed outdoors, don't expect the graphics to last, especially if you have this facing the sun.

Just received my tin sign, earlier than expected. The tin is a little thinner than imagined. But it is a cool tin sign. It has the appearance of a super glossed finished which makes it might appear to last longer.It was a little bigger then I thought it was. It did not fit where I wanted it to but no biggie I can find another spot for it.Over all am happy with product, happy with seller.If I need another tin sign I can count on the seller to get it to me.

Like the product its nice and good craftsmanship but it came in bent through the mail and wasn't wrapped in anything. For future reference maybe bubble wrap them.

Looked just like the picture. Very nice. I gave 4 stars because I was a little bent when I got it. Would buy again.

This is a fun addition to our Cabela's themed room. The color and quality are good and the "bullet holes" go all the way through the metal and show the wall behind. Kids and husband love it and its a perfect addition to any den, man cave, or shop.

Love this sign. I bought it for a friend of mine because he's an avid hunter and he's always joking about me going hunting with him and I've never shot a gun so he joked that I'd shoot a sign so I bought this for him! super cute and sturdy love it!

It is exactly as stated in the description and I have it in the man cave so I don't have to worry about it getting weathered.
