Great
Works great. Plug and play, no installation needed. Gives my previously WiFi-less pc a way to pick up WiFi signal. Gets a steady 20-30 mbps through a sold brick wall even when the kids are streaming shows.*side note, my pc states no Internet while connected but this has no effect on connection and speed.

Good Device.
When I first built my PC around 10 years ago I had a tiny little WiFi dongle. It wasn’t great to begin with.Over those 10 years I’ve upgraded my PC a couple of times and also had newer WiFi routers. Anyway the one I had wasn’t really up to the task anymore and was slowing my connection down because of its age.I saw this one, read some reviews and decided to purchase one.Delivery was really quick. It’s a well designed device, looks awesome, good strong connection and speeds. The setup was really easy too.Highly recommended for those who don’t want to spend a lot but want a decent device.

Good but poor instructions
The product works, without a doubt. However, to set the thing up is difficult. I’m running windows 11 whereas the instructions seem to only mention windows 7. It took me around an hour to set the thing up but in the end it does work and it works well.Firstly, the USB has to be plugged into a USB 3.0 port (the blue one), it will work in other sockets but the signal strength won’t be as strong. This could be a problem with my hardware but it seems to work really well in just one of my USB ports.Secondly, when you connect it to the internet, the instructions specify and I quote “Select your WiFi network, click connect and enter the password”.This is way too brief. You don’t just connect the computer to the internet, you have to physically open your WiFi settings, find where the device is located in your network and tell the computer to use it for the internet. Mine was called “WiFi 2”.I had to really dig around my settings to find how I could swap it over onto the device. One of the links in the small pamphlet (faq-2253.html) did help me find out where in the settings it was buried.Long story short, it does work, it is good value for money, well designed and I would buy again. The instructions for set-up is just useless unless you already have a vague knowledge of how computers work. Would not recommend for anyone over the age of 50.

Great Piece of Hardware!
I was dubious about this device, after having several USB wifi adapters before. While, as ever, an Ethernet connection is always the best for the fastest speed possible, sometimes that isn't always possible and that applies here. After doing some more research into this device and reviewing other websites' reviews on this, I decided to buy it - I've not been disappointed! - The difference in speed is remarkable, after pulling no more than 250-300mb download on the previous USB3.0 wifi adapter, this is now giving me double that, comfortably. If you're have a decent piece of kit, perhaps one of the best USB3.0 wifi adapters then definitely purchase this, you won't be dissapointed.

Couldn't be much more useless
Never had such a bad experience with a wifi adapter before, even cheap off brand ones have been better.Sometimes it gives me internet, sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes it kicks several users off my network, sometimes it doesn't. It always connects to my network, but gaslights me about there being no Internet.Ive had my internet provider send out an engineer who ran diagnostics and found no issues with my internet or router.Zero support from tplink themselves, no amount of googling and trouble shooting provided a solution. In the bin it goes.

Not great speeds, but adequate after installing dedicated drivers
Liked that it was very much 'plug and play' with Windows 10, being able to find and connect to my WiFi straight away. However, I was very nearly about to send it back, as the connection was typically going <1 Mbps or dropping entirely, so even downloading the 49 Mb driver file of the website was painful and even stopped itself at one point! This is in comparison to having no issues with speed through USB tethering to my phone connected to my WiFi, so it was definitely the dongle having issues. Prior to this I used to have ethernet and received up to 300 Mb/s, and though I know not to expect anywhere near this using a WiFi dongle, I had hoped for something usable!Proceeded to install the dedicated drivers for the device hoping this would fix the issue. Fortunately, although the speeds aren't brilliant, they are now usable at around 20 Mbps+, even getting up to 45 Mbps at one point when downloading some Steam game updates, so for little more than a tenner I'm happy enough for the time being, although it is nowhere near the advertised capability of 200 Mbps.

Fixes the issue
Have an old Dell e6420 laptop that I’ve set up with a dock to use with a larger monitor and keyboard etc. Weirdly, when the laptop is closed (which is precisely what it is supposed to be when docked), the wifi speed drops to 120kbps download, which is unusable. This little antenna fixes that issue by plugging into a USB port on the dock. For the price, it feels well made. The USB end is a tiny bit chunky, so neighbouring USB slots may be tight, but that aside, it is great value for money and works flawlessly with a 13 year old laptop running Windows 10.I disabled the internal wifi antenna via control panel which lets this connect by default.
