The maximum the opening will stretch to is around 38 cm /15 inch

The circumferance of the boot opening is 36cm. It is elasticated and therefore does stretch slightly.

I am a size 5. I ordered a size 5 and they are a bit big but I have got used to it now. I have big calves but these are nice and wide for me. I don't have any trouble taking them off or calf cramp like I used to with other wellies. I have had these over a month and I am sooo pleased with them. They are a bit heavy to start with wearing them but once you get used to them they are great. I love mine.😀
