ClarksWomen's Deva Mae Ankle Strap Heels

I am normally wary of buying shoes online as I don't want the hassle and expense of returning them if they don't fit. In addition, I am a size 4.5 and most footwear sold online does not come in half sizes. I was, therefore, delighted to find Amazon selling these Clarks' shoes in half sizes. Plus I have bought Clarks' shoes before and they have always fitted well so I felt confident that these sandals would fit me. I also like Clarks' shoes as they are always good quality and well made and normally made of real leather rather than faux leather. I was very happy with these sandals. They fit well, are really comfortable and look stylish. I wanted something which looked smart and which could be dressed up or down as required, but I also wanted something which was comfortable to wear. I wanted a heel but nothing too high or dificult to walk in. The heels on these sandals are high enough to be dressy but low enough to be easy to wear. I could wear these with a pair of jeans or a dress. The ankle strap and the t-brace ensure that the sandals don't slip about on my feet and add to the comfort. All in all, I was delighted with these sandals and I am happy to recommend them to others.

Quality of the shoe is perfect, so comfortable. For me the ankle strap is long enough, however I do have small ankles. Heel size is perfect, not too small, not too big. There is just one simple problem: ordered size was too large for me. I am usually size 5 (european 38), my foot length is 24.5 cm. Based on the Size chart provided, i should order size 6 (24.6 cm). And I did. Wrong. Length provided is from the top to the end of the shoe (take a look at the picture added), not the length of the part where your foot is. At size 6, length of this part measures 26 cm. I would say size 5 (european 38) would fit perfectly. Unfortunately it is not in stock at the price size 6 was. I still give it a 5 star review, shoes are wonderful and so pretty.

Very nice shoes. Comfortable. Basic design but can go with any look.I like this shoes but as I expected, the strap is quiet short.I have a think and small ankle, so I can wear it but if you do not, you must be careful when you make s decision.

I ordered the black leather pair in my usual Clark's size 4.5 UK and they fit perfectly so I would say they are true to size. They are so comfortable to walk in and are the usual Clarks high quality, can't wait to wear them out. The strap as previously reported is short, I found this to be because of the stiff ankle support, if you place your foot right to the back and pull hard on the strap I found I could get them done up on the last hole, which is a disappointing design factor however as these are soft leather and I have now work them a bit around the house I have been able to now stretch the strap to the second hole, they are tight around the ankle but will give in time. All in all very pleased with these classic sandals.

Very confortable pair of sandals, I worn them at a wedding the whole day and most of the evening. Very good price. Love the quality too.

I am so disappointed to have to send these back. Perfect height and fit but the ankle strap just wasn’t long enough to be comfortable.

After reading the reviews I was doubtful that these would fit. I usually wear a 5 in a boot and 4 or 5 in a shoe. I also have quite wide feet. I bought a 4.5. These fit great and feel so comfortable. Have one just received them so haven’t wore them out yet.

Not worn yet but never had an issue with Clarks shoes, soft leather and ideal height.
