Installation nightmare attempting to use supplied junk, unusable fasteners.
Removing the factory installed relay switch in the unit was a simple process. Replacing it with the remote controlled switch was a battle on and off for two days. including two trips to HD. Included with the switch were itty-bitty mahine bolts, two itty-bitty washers the thickness of heavy duty aluminum foil, and two itty-bitty nuts. Two itty-bitty machine screws were included. The destructions only mention the little screws to be used. If you don't have the sticky tipped fingers of a 6 year old with the dexterity of a fine surgeon, you will not get these fasteners in place. I gave up on the nut and bolt route. I managed to get the screws in place by using a small pinch of Alien Tape on the tip of my finger. The predrilled holes are too small for the small phillip head screws. As soon as they were in place, a half a turn they started to seize. Applying pressure as I turned, immediately stripped the soft head. Even though I was using the proper screwdriver for that size screw. I ended up enlarging the holes in the mounting tabs and plate. I purchased quality stainless steel nylon lock nuts and bolts. After a couple thirteen, fourteen tries, using the Alien Tape sticky finger method, I succeeded in getting it mounted very securely. So there.

Anchor motor remote
This is a very handy remote which came with a mount you could install in a convenient location or use the snap ring to connect to a belt loop. Requires removing the original relay assembly from the anchor motor and installing the controller box than comes with it. Easy to do, no drilling, soldering or crimping. Works well, pleased with operation.

Poor Quality Remote
Installation was easy and matched the original unit perfectly. However, I am disappointed with the remote. The buttons are very low quality. Feels like it will break as you can hardly press the buttons without cramming your finger down very hard on the button. You have to get your finger positioned just right in order for the button to actually press down. Unfortunately, I don't think there is any alternative solution for a wireless remote.
