Deluxe 360 View Aerodynamic Beach Shader/Cabana UPF 100+ with Max Ventilation

I love reading reviews before I buy. I didn't have the luxury with this one so I took a blind leap. This is a lengthy one but since it's the only one, thus far, I wanted to include as much as I could come up with.The good:Lightweight. Easy to carry. Well made. Nice color. Extremely sturdy in strong and even gusty winds. Open design encourages the wind to flow through allowing a nice breeze all day. Nice mat flooring to keep things off the sand. Good sun protection for several hours without having to move around. Very roomy for 1 person.The not-so-good:Absolutely requires more than 1 person to set up. Do not wait to set it up for the first time at the beach! Inadequate/incomplete, difficult to follow directions. Must have front open to the wind. Side winds will beat you half to death! Tight quarters for more than 1 chair if you want room for a cooler and a bag. Best used with a low beach chair. Not easily repositioned. No rear view at all.I cannot stress enough to practice the set-up BEFORE attempting in the strong beach winds! The directions do not include 1 very important step. When setting the poles into the base of the tent, there are double metal rings, one with a pin attached. The pin should be inserted into the open end of the tube of the pole. My husband and I were so exhausted and frustrated with our first and unsuccessful attempt, I wadded it up and intended to send it back. It took someone with more experience than we had to show us how. Easy after that!I waited to write a review until after I had put it to use. We were in the Fl panhandle while hurricaine Matthew raged along the East coast. We had strong gusty winds the entire trip, but it was sunny and warm where we were. It held up beautifully! Performed much better than I dreamed possible! Provided good shade most of the day, although I had to reposition myself underneath and vacate when it no longer provided the required shade for my sensitive skin.All in all, I'm happy with the item. For the price it can't be beat.

I was very happy for a while with my purchase. In theory a great design. I soon found that setting up this thing up was very difficult, and not out of a lack of understanding how it was supposed to go up. In order to get the desired tension to my liking I had to tug and pull hard at corners and loops that ended up tearing. The spring cord that held the rods together/in place also broke after the second beach season. I can’t recommend this product. Gets 2 stars because it almost lasted 2 beach seasons w/o a huge amount of use.

Nice and roomy and great angle to block sun, yet have visibility. I just wish they used clips for the poles rather than sleeves. And I wish the ground section was removable, I don't enjoy lying on that kind of material (nylon?)

This product was not well made. The placement of the poles tags were misidentified. The third weight bag on the flooring was missing altogether. Because of the mixed tags, during a windy condition, two of shock corded poles snapped! All in all... JUNK!!!

Purchased for an upcoming weekend to the Gulf where the wind is never ending. Set up and take down by myself in my living room was simple.The only thing I noticed so far is that one of the front section guy line connection points is not centered. It is more to the middle than to the outside where it is pictured and where I'm sure it would be of more use. I don't know if anyone else has that problem and it's only one connection point that is affected. The material seems sturdy enough but some of the seams look like they could have been made stronger. But then the price would be higher I'm sure. I'm optimistic there won't be any big issues. Time will tell. The connection point not being aligned properly is why I rated this three stars. I will update my review after I've put the item to good use.Update: after twelve hours of abuse for two days in constant 20mph winds from the Gulf, I have to say this was a great purchase. Having set it up prior to using it helped tremendously once I was on the beach. I am also very happy about how much this helps to keep the sun from beating down on me without worrying about it moving. Just make sure it faces the wind and you're set. The guy line being off centered wasn't much of an issue once it was completely set up and I adjusted for the difference. More of a cosmetic thing that bugs my OCD side but isn't really much of an problem overall.In the end, buy it. I was very happy I did and I'm sure you will be too.

This is very easy to set up - one person can do it. (I do suggest one practice run!) And it easily packs away into the very small bag it comes in. I was able to add to my suitcase. (It would fit in a carry on too, however, you might be stopped by security.) Very lightweight and it does accomodate two adults!Great product!!

Very user friendly to build and take down. I purchased for my 5 month so he could have a breeze with shade and to give me the ability to sit with him on a chair. It worked great!

Completely unrealistic to set up. Horrible instructions.
