Floxite 15x Lighted Travel & Home Mirror, Black

Honestly, I have no idea if this is a good value for money but here's what I like and don't like about the mirror:1. The light is very good and bright, better than the folding blue travel mirror from Floxite that I have a few of.2. The mirror is good - very magnifying - so its not for seeing your whole face. It's for blind old people like me putting on makeup and plucking eyebrows, etc.3. The thing I like less about this mirror compared to the folding, telescoping travel light from Floxite is that it isn't very adjustable as far as position. The guts of the light are behind the mirror which makes it heavy on that "half" of the light compared to the cover of the light which acts as a stand and is not heavy. This means that in some positions it will tip over. It is also heavier than the blue telescoping Floxite travel mirror.In summary, I like it enough to keep it but for travel I think the other light may be better UNLESS you plan to use it in a dark place. It is also heavier than the other light which might make a difference to you for travel. On a recent trip I could not apply makeup in the bathroom due to inability to position the mirror in a way that didn't require me to kneel on the hard bathroom floor. Ended up taking toiletries to the desk so I could sit in the chair and kind of slouch to see in the mirror.

This little lighted mirror is just what I wanted. The light is very bright and the magnification is high so I can see to pluck my chin hairs. Yes I can see every imperfection but I know no one else can see that so I don’t worry about that.I would have given it 5 stars if it was more flexible on adjusting the angle of the mirror like the older version I’ve had. At least with this one the wires won’t break because that’s all behind the mirror now.

the light is extremely bright and can take some getting used to , but also good for my hard to see eyes when putting on under lash lashes -

I previously had another 15x travel mirror from Floxite that folded up, but a wire connected batteries in the base to two lights in the top half, and years of folding finally snapped the wire. This version of the 15x travel mirror is better for a number of reasons - A) the battery is in the same side as the light, so opening and closing the unit won't break any wires; B) the light goes all the way around the mirror, so there are no shadows, even when holding tweezers at weird angles; and C) the light is less orangey than the other mirror. The mirrors are about the same size, even. This one is taller because of how the batteries are arranged, but it's flatter, so overall I'm fine with it. The downsides are that the lights are almost too bright early in the morning, I wish you could recline the mirror even more in the base, and the plastic attracts a lot of fingerprints. These are pretty minor quibbles though. So far, I'm pretty happy with this as a replacement and hope it lasts a while!

Cannot use without holding up to my face. The goal was to have a 10x magnifying mirror so I can use both hands to apply makeup. Spend a little money and buy bigger stand alone mirror. I was penny wise and dollar foolish.

I use this mirror for both home use and traveling. The light and magnification is perfect. Since I am so satisfied , I am gifting one for Christmas this year.

Smaller than I needed. Returned.

My vision isn't great. This was a good improvement over my x10 magnifier. Handy size for purse and travelling.
