The wood is beautiful, lovely color and intresting grain. I bought the 12" first and liked it so muchI bought the 16" too. Would definatelyrecommend for food presentation.

The one thing I don't like is the friction/sound when turning them. It's like a grinding noise. That's why I only have 4 stars. I bought the 12" & 16". You can see and hear everything in my video. I really do like them, but hoping we can find a way to quiet the spin or make it smoother. One review stated WD40 didn't work. Also, I'm exchanging the 16" for another billing for a different shape. The one I received shows the hardware.

I love this. It will be present on my table and out the condiments on it for each reach for everyone.

i like this lazy susan very much. it's on my kitchen table and cleared up all the clutter that was on the tabletop all the time. the wood is great and looks so pretty. it spins smoothly with no hesitation.

Just what I wanted. And great quality

I took a chance that I might get an ugly one but no the one that I received is a true work of art. It's beautiful. It's a perfectly balanced rounded circular sort of rectangular square shape, a beautiful wood color and finish with little burls. I can tell it is made by an artist who loves the trees, every part of them. P. S. Yes it is flat all over like a plate with a small edge all around (very shallow; if something spilled that was put on the turntable it wouldn’t immediately run off, but it is not deep, just a perfect little edge).

The product description clearly states that the platter is between 11"-13" wide. That is exactly what was delivered and we obviously didn't read the dimensions. The turntable looks great, good quality construction and works as described. The problem is that the serving platter is basically the size of a dinner plate and It is absolutely silly to have it on a Lazy Susan turntable. There is nothing out of reach no matter on which side you are reaching for appetizers. The turntable hardware is solid, smooth and more than likely the majority of the $44 cost of the product. I was tempted to remove the hardware and find a larger, more suitable wood platter to replace the original one. My wife scolded me and said to just return it. It is a little pricey for the underwhelming size.
