Silly, fun kids book
My two boys both love this book. It’s fun to read and is silly and sweet at the same time. Great for early readers too.

Multi-use, lovely & loveable story!!
This book was presented at a class I took when renewing my teaching certificate as an Elementary Education major, and I've used it every year since, with kids in grades 1 through 4!! All my classmates and I simply fell in love with it! The pictures are charming and the story is sweet and cute. There's a little bit of "guess-ability" from page to page, so when I've read it in circle time or to the entire class I can maintain excitement and interest from page to page by being dramatic & keeping the children wondering what will happen next. I've used the book with 3rd and 4th graders as a writing prompt by halting the story in the middle and having the students write their own individual endings. Students can also act out the story and do "readers theater" type activities, with weaker children joining in by chanting the repetitive parts. Or, you can simply read the book to your own child, or class, or yourself, and enjoy this pleasant and kind story. Heck...it also could be turned into a math/cooking activity at the conclusion. I won't tell you why because it would spoil the story. You'll have to read the book to understand why!! 😄😀 Regardless, I'm sure you'll enjoy this book and be glad to make its acquaintance!

Fun book!
I love children's books, and this is a good one! I read it to my son's first grade class for the 100th day of school and then gifted it to his teacher. Highly recommend.

OK knock-off of author's My Lucky Day
Cute book with great illustrations, but it is almost like that sequel that doesn't really live up to the original. There are good characters and some plot, but it never makes it to the level of the original, in this case, the author's immensely clever "My Lucky Day." Worth reading to or with your youngsters? Yes, it is an enjoyable read. The 2-year-old likes it, but it didn't make his favorite list. Just prepare yourself for a little letdown if you are a fan of Lucky Day.

Favorite Read Aloud
I bought this book for my 27yo daughter. The preschool she works at had "Favorite Book Day" and our copy- she had read it to her younger sisters, was very well loved.

Good book for a 4 year old
My 4 year old grandson loves this book. When he sees it he asks me to read it every time. A little short, but okay for his attention span!

Classic kids book
This is a cute little book about a wolf who sets out to make himself a chicken stew, but his soft heart gets the better of him! Lovely before-bed reading with our three-yr-old. Feels like a classic kids book.
