I agree the price gouging on this is outrageous! Like you I have been buying them for years and the quality has NOT increased at all. They are exactly the same except maybe new packaging. They took some of the "industrial" look off of it to capture some pandemic buyers. It's really not right that they are taking advantage of the higher demand brought by the pandemic but like you say capitalism allows it but that does not make it less cheezey!

I am not sure about the paint thinner but wanted you to know that these gloves run very small. I have very small hands and the large were very tight. I use disposable gloves to do my gardening and the quality of these is the best I have found. Very thick and durable.
