I Really Want a Combination of This and Another Case
For this review, I'm actually going to review two cases at once and let you make up your mind between the two options when purchasing. For reference, I also purchased the Anymode Vent Folio since I wasn't sure which one I really wanted. To view that one, click the following link:ย Anymode Genuine Leather/Polycarbonite Vent Folio Cover Case for Apple iPhone 5 (Black) The diary folio is great in that it has a cover to protect your screen at all time and a clasp that keeps it closed, which is something that the Vent Folio doesn't have meaning it's constantly flipping open. The downside of the Diary folio is that it's designed to carry cards around in as well as your phone. This means that there's a good 1/4" to 1/2" of space between the cover and screen when it's closed. The Vent Folio doesn't have this issue and the form factor is much thinner and adds a lot less bulk to your phone than the Diary does. Both versions do have the same trouble when it comes to actually using your phone. The covers always flip backward, but actually reaching all areas of your screen while still holding onto the phone can be pretty tricky, and cause you to really strain to reach the far edges. They do both have a hole near the earpiece so you can still talk with the cover closed. My ideal case would be a combination of the two. The form factor of the Vent Folio with the clasp and material from the Diary Folio. Neither are a bad option, but they both have their downsides.(Note: The Diary Folio is meant to keep cards in, but the clasp works by using a magnet. You will have to be VERY careful not place your credit cards the wrong way and accidentally de-magnetize the strip on them.)Pros: Very classy looking case. Almost like a suit for your phone rather than a traditional caseCons: Tends to be bulky, a little tricky to use one-handed when cover is folded back.Bottom Line: A little bulky, but a really nice looking case that can be a little awkward to use one-handed.

Not too sure
I like the look of this case and think it is a great way to not carry a purse but not functional for me personally. I would be nervous to lose my phone and then have my cards attached. I just wouldn't use this one, that's the only reason I scored it a 3.5. Otherwise, it seems to be a great idea.

Stylish and Useful
When choosing this case for my iPhone 5 I was looking for a privacy case as well as a case with pockets for carrying cash or credit. This case conceals the phone in a stylish Faux Leather Diary Folio that latches shut with a magnetic latch but also has slots for Credit and ID cards, or cash and business cards. Since I always have my phone with me, this case brings options for securing other necessaries while out and about. I like that the case covers the face of the phone for privacy. When talking on the phone, I use headphones most of the time so the cover was not an issue as you can leave the cover on the face of the phone and still have conversation without having to open the case. There are times when I may answer the phone without headphones and in that case you can fold the cover back and use the magnet to hold the cover back while talking on the phone. I would recommend this case for anyone looking for an all in one type of case.

Great Case but better material would help
Like other reviewers, I too am a business traveler and this case is a great value and superior protection with a great design. I was tired of the OtterBox and other beefy cases, but this case is perfect. It allows me to have all my flying documents together and my phone handy in one pocket. Plus it fully protects the edges of the phone even in my pocket. My only complaint is that the latch to hold the flap is very rigid and needs a few weeks worth of breaking in to have it lay flat on the back of the phone. Great Job overall!!
