Camco Evo RV Water Filter - Complete Filtration Kit - Made in the USA

Great! As described.

Final update, I've used the filter with the replacement hose. All is good. Second Update: I received replacement hose, and it seems good. I still think they should make these with the same quality they make their drinking water hoses. First update: Within 24 hours, Camco got back to me. (good first step!) Camco offered to replace the hose with a tested one. After I receive this, and test it, I'll update this review (and my rating). Original review: I just received my Camco EVO water filter order from Amazon. The canister assembly seems pretty well designed and made. (Like there hoses). I have assembled it. When I attempted to attach the short connector hose to the canister, I discovered that it is nowhere near the same quality. The male end did not fit tightly, turned easily in the hose, and just pulled right off! (see photo) No wonder reviewers have complained of this leaking. Clearly this hose is NOT of the same quality as the fresh water hoses Camco makes. I've left a message on the support link found by clicking on the Technical Support button on the Amazon order page. I will update this review if Camco gets back to me and makes this right. What would be a more than satisfactory solution would be for them to send me a 4ft Camco water hose which can be found at this amazon link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07FD63M3P/ref=twister_B07PJVK52B?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 (They should make the connector hose for this the same way these hoses are made). I'll update this review if I get a satisfactory response from Camco with a day or two. If I don't, I'll be returning this filter to Amazon.

I needed a replacement canister for our Evo 2-filter system. This fit perfectly and gave us some spare parts. Very happy.

Press release button leaks, leaks between filter cartridge housing and cap. Attempted to re assemble but still leaked. Disappointed On positive note, returned and exchanged for same item no problem. Good customer service. The replacement worked as designed, compact, easy set up.

I bought this for a slightly unusual application -- for which it works brilliantly. Like many households, I have a multi-stage reverse osmosis water filter system under the kitchen sink. Every six months or so I'm supposed to change the filters, and for each of the charcoal filter cartridges I'm supposed to flush them for a few minutes before installing them. But how do you do that? It occurred to me that I could buy a single-cartridge housing and a few fittings, and run a garden hose through each filter to flush it for a few minutes. It's easy to buy the housings, and a little harder to find the right fittings, but when you add up the cost of the cheapest parts available it totals about the same cost as buying this kit. So I bought this kit. I was pleased to find that all the fittings are of high quality. For example, the core parts of the hose adapters are solid metal, rather than plastic. As you can see from the attached photo, pre-installation filter-flushing is now easy.

I’d give 0 stars if I could. I got a message while away from our camper that the top of this filter started spewing water everywhere. After lots of reading it’s common and others since I’ve bought this had the same issue. 100000/10 do NOT recommend

I've used this filter system since 2018 and replace the filter each year before camping. It has performed well and I've never experienced any issues with leaks or broken parts.

I use it with my portable RV water softener when I fill my freshwater tank. I have beautiful water. Tastes great! Also just needs a drop of soap to make lather. I put an ounce of water purifier in the filter before I start so I don’t get an algae bloom that turns it yellow and affects the taste.

I liked it enough to purchase a second unit. I found this system really works well but had to replace the filter cartridges fairly often to compensate for the amount of rust and sediment at our campsite. I plan to put two filters in series and use cheaper, but less effective, cartridges to filter out some of the sediment.

Amazing difference in the taste of water in my RV. Easy to install and leaves no sediment in the in the sinks . Very impressed.

Easy to use, a works perfect, filters my brewing water perfect. replacement filters easy to find

I purchased that filter for better efficiency and lower cost. So far so good. I hope it will last long enough to prove my theory. Slightly pricey in my opinion, at 55 Cad.

Installed it in my RV easy to install simple to operate
