## Description

The Hi-Lift Jack Off-Road Base is designed to alleviate jack sinkage on soft surfaces. The Off-Road Base is compatible with all Hi-Lift jacks. Newly designed, the Off-Road Base includes serrated teeth along one side of the base. These teeth allow the user to scrape at hard dirt or gravel, to create a clean, flat surface for the base to sit on while in use. A clean, flat surface gives the Off-Road Base better footing and greater stability during the lifting process. A drilled hole in the center of the base allows the Off-Road Base to be attached to a Hi-Lift jack bar for storage when not in use, using an owner supplied 5/16 inch x 4 inch bolt and wing nut. Molded in high visibility red, making it harder to leave behind when the task is completed.

The first one I dug and chiseled out over the course of 4 hours, then I saw a video on youtube of a guy popping one out in 2 minutes using a Hi-Lift jack. I used this base on very soft ground in conjunction with Hi-Lift Jack XT485 48" Hi-Lift X-TREME Jack & Hi-Lift PP-350 Post-Popper Chain and Slip Hook . Worked like a charm and indeed only took about 2 minutes and zero effort. Very sturdy construction. Quite satisfied with this product.
Review: Works in muddy fields - I am a farmer who uses pivot irrigation systems to water my crops. Occasionally a tire will go flat and I'll have to jack the pivot up and replace the tire. It's a challenge in a wet field because it's straight mud and the jack will sink indefinitely into the ground rather than lift the heavy pivot. I've used a board but the board will sometimes slip around and it makes for a sketchy situation. I love this base for use to support the jack while changing tires; it's solid, stable, and only sinks a little ways into the ground. It is also heavy duty material that I believe will last a very long time.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Off road base, prevents sinking NOT slipping!

This is for the off road base. It works well for OFF ROAD use. It clearly states this is an OFF ROAD base. This item is NOT intended to be used on concrete or similar type roads. This is a hard base, using high grade hard plastic. The intention and purpose of this base is NOT to keep ur jack from slipping, but to keep your jack from SINKING in mud, sand and other soft soils and snow. DO NOT use on ice or concrete etc. For ice I have used a piece of 1/2" plywood that is 1" larger then this base, put 1x1 screwed into plywood around it, and so the base doesn't slip out, then embedded a dozen nails through the plywood bottom so that they protrude on the oppose side about 1/8" inch. This is a great item if you find yourself going off road over mud, sand, soft soil or snow! I am glad that it doesn't come with a bolt and a wing but as several others wished it had. I wouldn't have used it and it would be a waste of our natural resources to provide me a piece of hardware I don't need. If you want to attach it to your jack, get a 5/8" 4.5" bolt and a wing nut. It's less than $2
