The media could not be loaded. I struggled to put colours of yarn that go together into an order for a granny square blanket. This Scheepjes mini ball set has helped so much. Each ball makes one granny square and the little pieces left over make great smaller squares.

Having seen the beautiful wools, I was so tempted to teach myself to knit. My super long stripy scarf is on its way, and I have fun deciding which colour to use next!

I had read in the reviews that this was smaller than people expected, but was still caught off guard! The whole box is a similar size to a jigsaw puzzle box. But the wool looks lovely, and my mother-in-law (who is a keen knitter) was absolutely delighted when she opened her gift this morning, not phased in the slightest that this is more of a box of samples. No doubt it will be used to create some beautiful stripy/patchwork items or toy clothes. I got it to go with the book “Knitted Animal Friends” by Louise Crowther, as she recommends Scheepjes Stonewashed yarn. However, although the 10g balls of wool may be enough for making some of the clothes, there isn’t enough of each colour to knit a whole animal.

Perfect for my craft projects, the only problem is choosing which colour to use first.

This was a perfect collection of wool for me, I like knitting small , dressed up dolls and the small balls of wool were just perfect and stunning colours and quality.
