Travel Smart by Conair LadderKart w/ 3-Step Ladder and Folding Wheels

I'm an architect, I decided to give this small ladder a chance at the construction site to help me with my inspections. while I have in the past been carrying my own ladder (I still do specially when I have doubts of the construction in question) to inspect matters above the ceiling grid. However, I grew tired of carrying the 6' A frame ladder every time. I wanted to have something light hopefully with wheels that could save me on those easy inspections from bringing the heavier A frame ladder. So, I gave this one a try and it did the trick for me. it is light and easy to carry, it is well made and seems like it wont break in a long time. I have also used the hand truck device and has worked well too. Over all I give it a five star specially thinking of its great price; however I do have some criticism about the ANSI weight it is tested for (250lbs). It seems to me that for a light weight person like me (170 lbs.) it seems sturdy and I feel confident getting up and down. I don't know how a heavier guy would feel about doing the same. My other negative comment would be that the hand truck device may not be able to handle a heavy load. I think it would do great with an average tool box but I would not use it for a large container with tools and materials. I hope you find this useful.

This unit is perfect for my photography. It gives me a stable ladder that allows me to gain around 3 feet in height and I can use the handle as a 3 point of stability by leaning into it with my legs. It's very portable and can fit into the backseat of my 2 door coupe. This is much safer and more professional than using a chair or some other device. The dolly/cart aspect of this is nice and I have used it several times successfully. You'll want to have a few bungee cords or something to help hold things on the cart if you're moving sensitive equipment or going over rough terrain.

First off, the ladder works and it works just fine. I just looked at the price and I for some reason bought this ladder kart at a better deal. Let's just say I wouldn't pay the price of this ladder as of now. It's not light but it's not super heavy either, but I feel like it's heavier than a regular step ladder, but that's okay b/c it can be rolled. I would say that this ladder got a lot of bonus points for the design though b/c of the combo of the hand truck. I haven't been able to use the hand truck that much so I can't really vouch for it. I also bought this originally to take on photography shoots, but I made the mistake of using it to paint my studio and now its just a utility ladder which it works great for, but that is any step ladder.

I had been looking for one of these since I heard Scott Kelby talking about them a few years ago. Finally bought one and have to say......a great product. Very sturdy...the wheels work well and the ladder is easy to move around. If I want a little height above my subject, this is the ladder for the job. When it comes to hauling equipment.....does the job with ease. Can't go wrong with this ladder/cart. Price point is good as well.

I was looking for a small ladder I could throw in the back of my Suv for small jobsthat didn't require a large ladder. This Ladder cart has really come in handy. I even use it around the house works really nice its made fairly well and the cart featurehas saved me from carrying boxes more than a few times. For the price its a bargain.I'm more than happy with this item.

When you look at this picture, it looks like the wheel turn inward. This was not the case!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And it cost me over 50% of the cost to return it. I would have kept it if I had storage space for it. This was false advertising!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Design flaw if you are using the ladder portion and want to wheel it from location to location. You have to walk around the ladder and wheel from the other side, as the wheels are not on the step ladder side. We have ordered similar ladders, but have never encountered this problem. We are very disappointed in poor design.
