These are expensive, but well worth the price in my opinion. They secure my hair very well and are very comfortable, even when pressure is applied against them (such as a headrest or lying down). I have a couple different styles and they are also very pretty -- the plastic does not look cheap at all and has nice color, pattern and shine, and it has not faded over several years (I bought my first one in 2014). I did have the spring on one of them break, but the company offers a lifetime guarantee. Customer service was super helpful and all I had to do was send in a photo of the broken clip, and they quickly sent me a replacement. These are on my list of must-haves, which is why I have a number of them around. Highly recommended!

Have worn this clip and ones like it now for 12+ years. So easy to put my hair up and go. They are pretty and hold my hair well. One of my original ones finally broke and this was a replacement. They are a bit expensive, but I love them and they are durable enough to be worth the price.

Medium shoulder length fine but a lot of hair. Holds up with some whispys can fix during the day. I am choosing not to use hairspray on these because of the expense. I love France luxe. I have many barrettes. This is my first clip. I just could not find black in stores. I am letting hair grow and some days just need to put it up.This clip is worth the money. It’s got tension but did not give me headache. I have worn it all week before writing this. My barrettes are flat classy for putting in classic ponytail. I have been able to soak and get hairspray off these. The clip would be harder. I have been using this brand for six years and still have every piece.

With long, thick, curly hair, this is the only clip that I use that will hold my hair without breaking or popping off. And it’s beautifully made. It’s thick and sturdy, yet looks sheer and elegant with soft sheen. It isn’t inexpensive but is a great value for the money and will last years. My first one was at least 10 years old, with weekly use before the spring gave out. With price per wear it’s a great value for the money.

France Luxe has always produced fine quality hair clasps, and this one is no exception. The spring is tough and strong, with very good gripping power, even for fine hair. The finish is top quality, polished and rubbed to a fine gloss gloss. The color itself is a lovely whitish-cream color, guaranteed to match a large majority of your summer attire..I have used this French-made brand of hair clasps for some time now, and have never experienced any problems. As long as you gently wash them after each use to remove hair-spray, or hair oils, the finish will remain brilliant, and the spring will not become sticky and difficult to open.The price is rather high, but these are quality clasps, and you will probably have them around for years. I recommend this brand, as being a producer of high-quality and hand-made hair clasps. France Luxe offers enough styles, colors, and sizes to satisfy most people.These will look nice when worn, and will grip very tightly to hold your hair in place. This is just a really nice, and high-quality product. It does what it is supposed to do.

Quality jaw hair clips are difficult to find these days which is surprising given they are a quick remedy for windy days outside. France Luxe jaw clips are of extremely high quality and reflect an innovative use of plastics to promote beauty as well as strength. I have a beautiful France Luxe jaw clip that is approaching ten years in age which I use several times a week. It looks as good as the day I bought it. This clip appears to be another step above that in terms of quality. Read the descriptions carefully. This clip is made for medium to thick hair. I actually have thin to medium; medium just after wash and blow dry. So I won't get quite the use out of it but it's too unique to return.

I love these France Luxe Couture Jaw clips. In about 30 years I've only had two (of the many I've purchased) break, and one of those was my fault. They last forever and work perfectly. I've tried the apparent imitation brand which costs less, but was very disappointed. So, bite the bullet, spend the money, and get the best.
