I love this Tahini by Tarazi. I use it as a dip for bananas, apples and put it on toasted rice cakes.

Makes the best tahini salad dressing I've ever had! I keep it in the fridge and it lasts until it's used up.

Oil leaked out of the bottle, no sealed lid under the plastic lid, and expiration date in a few months.

I love this Tahini. We have tried many kinds. Yesterday I made some incredible fresh Cayenne Hummus. Absolutely phenomenal!

Tarazi Sesame Tahini is a medium roast which most people will find pleasant tasting as it is not as bitter as some of the darker roasted brands. it is also unsalted so that it blends well in sweet dishes like tahini shortbread cookies and halva as well as in savory dishes such as hummus, salad dressings, and eggplant dishes. That said, many Americans are used to a bit more roast on their sesame seed Tahini which can bring out more smokey and meaty character but also a bit more bitterness. I am very pleased that this brand is from USA, California actually, which means that we get it nearly as soon as it is produced and I find less separation of oil and butter so a minimal of mixing is required. My only CON is I have found that some batches seem as if they could be conched / ground a bit longer as I find them somewhat gritty. And we are paying an American made price tag. So, if you use tahini for a multitude of dishes I think that this is a good choice, if your experience with tahini is making hummus only then I urge you to try Tarazi tahini in sweets, shakes, coffee even! This tahini is truly versatile

Unfortunately this arrived with a cracked lid, the inside protected thing was broken as well. The liquid from the tahini leaked out. No refunds are offered.
