Maglite XL200 LED 3-Cell AAA Flashlight, Black

First things first, this is an awesome bright flashlight, period. I got the latest model of 230 lumens. The one advertised is the older model of 172 lumens. I have attached a picture of the product, you can compare with what is there in Amazon. The batteries are Alkaline but Energizer model, not Duracell, but they are good as well. Its made in Ontario in California. I have attached a picture of that as well.The build quality is very good, the LED used is very powerful, blinds you so should not be pointed at anyone. The button switch has a great tactile feedback and all the features work as advertised. Beam throw is very even and good both indoors and outdoors. I'm now looking for a cover or pouch to keep it in. Its fairly weather resistant not water proof, is IPX4 rated.The only con is the price, but it is a one time investment and worth it, still I feel the price could have been 1000 INR less.Final verdict: Go for it if you want a well built flashlight which is super bright and you want the features mentioned. Road trip enthusiasts, campers, trekkers, should buy this product.If you want waterproof model, Maglite has those as well, just research and Google 😃

Excellent product. The beam is extremely bright and can be adjusted (strength). One small issue in changing modes is that one needs to keep pressing the switch while changing over from beam to strobe etc. The torch itself is extremely light (and quite different from their C Cell/D Cell ones). The grip is excellent and its small enough to nearly fit in one's palm. Finish is typical Maglite....exceptional! Haven't as yet tested maximum duration (of battery) but hoping it will be good enough to last 2 weeks under medium (2/3 hours a day) usage.

Drop, bite, wash. And it keeps living.The light at full power runs for a decent 1-1.5 hours and is still powerful enough as a spotlight from ~10-15 meters height.Nightlamp mode is useful, occasionally.Everything works perfectly even after the battering (and submersion) it takes, after all it's a Maglite.The accelerometer based light adjustment is intuitive and convenient, and goes from very dim nightlight to full beam with smooth rotation of the wrist, easily controllable.Batteries last 3-4 months on varied brightness.It's a very well designed and built Maglite.Just remember to do monthly checkups of the batteries (for leakage, which is the only weakness of Mags) and apply Vaseline to the 'o' rings, 6 monthly.

Sono molto affezzionato a questa Marca di Torce, in quanto ho utilizzato , per anni, la versione grande 4 batterie di tipo D, come Vigilantes notturno, e come guardiano notturno.Mai un problema, il massimo, della semplicità, e dell' affidabilità.Dopo 20 anni è ancora qui che funziona, e poi non ci scordiamo i 10 anni di garanzia Maglite, prodotta in USA.Ore ed ore, pioggia e freddo, temporali, caldo, sempre andata bene, con una buona autonomia, che mi consentiva di arrivare a mattina , con batterie ancora cariche Dopo averla usata tutta la notte.Ogni 2-3 mesi si bruciava la lampadina, e bastava sostituirla, la mattina a casa, dopo il turno, bastava mettere le pile ricaricabili in carica, e via.Molti quando acquistano una torcia non ci pensano, al cambio lampadina-led, con la Maglite era possibile farlo in autonomia.Ma comunque torniamo alla Ml200.Riporta le stesse caratteristiche della sorella maggiore : affidabilità, e semplicità.Ne ho provato molte di torce nuove, ma per farle funzionare ci vuole un brevetto da pilota!Qui no, un solo tasto posteriore, poche funzioni semplici, ma soprattutto intuitive, perché quando sei sotto stress, nei casi di pericolo, la testa non funziona, non hai tempo di pensare, ma farai ciò che avrai imparato , ripetendo piu' e più volte, il singolo gesto.Questa è la vera Torcia Tattica, questa è MagliteE' ideale per tutti , campeggiatori, forze di Polizia, e perché no, da tenere sul comodino in caso di necessità.

J'en utilise plusieurs depuis des années en milieu pro (industriel) et perso (treck).Les +Accès facile aux différentes fonctions (pour le modèle précédent, il fallait positionner la lampe dans une certaine position, pas évident dans le noir). Avec la XL200, 1 click : fonction 1, 2 clicks : fonction 2...Règlage de l'intensité lumineuse : très pratique et facilePiles AAA : beaucoup plus faciles à trouver que les CR123 (dans certains pays notammemment)Très solide, résiste très très bien aux chutes.Les -Ne pas poser sur un support en pente, car la lampe se met facilement à rouler, vous risquez de la perdre...Le bouton arrière est assez sensible, si vous mettez la lampe dans une poche contenant des clés, cela peut suffire à l'allumer
