It works! My boyfriend no longer takes allergy pills because of it. A little advice if you have severe allergies: use it everyday for the first couple of weeks, then go to three times a week.Here are some good tips to help:1) Treat the dander at the source: feed a high quality food (check dog food review websites) and add fish oil to their food (Nordic Naturals is a good brand for that), this will help curb the flaking skin.2) If your pet sheds, get a groomer to do a deshedding treatment every month. You will be amazed by the hair that comes off of them. It will also keep them cool during the summer.3) Brush them outside only, it helps keep the extra hair and stirred up dander outside. Have a non-allergic family member do this if you can.4) During periods of stress, their hair and dander will get worse. Plan accordingly with anxiety reducing products (Thundershirt is a great product).4) Make the bedroom a no dog zone. Being exposed to the allergens all night will make the allergies worse. Get a HEPA grade air purifier for the bedroom. You may want to buy them for other rooms down the line.That's all the tips I have. This product has helped us so much, now my boyfriend can breathe and he is off expensive allergy pills. Our main issue was that our anxious new dogs dander was off the charts due to stress shedding and a poor diet. After she detoxed from the former owners poor choices and calmed down, I think that helped as well.I will be purchasing this product again, if we ever run out due to the bottle lasting forever because you only need to use a little at a time.

Being allergic to dogs, the product worked pretty well, but my dog is allergic also and did not take too well with this product.

My dog gets dander and itchy skin during the winter months being inside and the heat on. This really works at alleviating that problem. It’s also easy to use and does not have much scent to speak of.

Like so many other reviews the packaging sucks. I received 4 bottles and one had no cap. Luckily the seal wasin tacked and no leakage. Product seems to work well. However, I think important to brush and if your dog will tolerate being lightly vacuumed that would be even better before applying allergy stuff.The powers to be there need to have their packaging people get it together. No excuse to send a bottle out without a cap.Maybe smoking too much dope in the packaging department?

I was a skeptic, since I've had severe allergies to cats and dogs since I was a kid. I couldn't go anywhere near them, although I'm an animal lover at heart. You probably know the story of allergic reactions: itchy rashes, wheezing, hives, etc. Allerpet-d is an absolute MIRACLE. It is a simple solution that I rub into my dog's fur about once a week after baths. It basically created a hypo-allergenic dog! We have a baby, and my husband (a pediatrician), feels it is a completely safe solution. If you love dogs, but have allergies, I BEG OF YOU to try this product. It will be the best ~$6 that you ever, ever spend. It gave me an entirely new life. AND, our dog lives INSIDE!! Don't be a slave to your allergies -- get out and enjoy those pups! (I haven't tried the allerpet for cats or birds, however, so can't comment on those).

I have a short haired dog, so don’t have terrible allergies from her, but from time to time she’ll roll around in the grass and rather than bathe her, I just rub this in her fur with a towel. It really does work well. No powerful smell, does the job.

Good product but price seems to keep creeping up.

This product did not work at all for me and my dog. My dog had no negative reactions to it, but it didn't help my allergies at all. That being said, I am sure it could help some people with really mild allergies, or perhaps, people with small dogs. But for my 45 pound goldendoodle, it didn't work.
