The book is great and has wonderful pics, that help me to pay attention to the camos and types of German helmets, that serves not only to the collectors, and figure painters as well.

It's interesting that German soldiers were allowed to paint their helmets any way they chose. This book provides photos of the imaginative patterns that their owners applied in the field. The value to me as a filmmaker is the excellent color images of these helmets. For our WWII film we're going to paint a few helmets according to some of the patterns in this book. If anyone complains that German helmets were dark green only , we can point to this great book to show that variations existed.
