Works great; repairs hair leaving hair soft and shiny.
I love this damage-erasing balm. I use it in my hair on a regular basis. In fact, I have gotten to the point where I don’t even bother with the conditioning step of my hair care routine. I’ve skipped it all together now. I wash my hair then move on to applying the balm into my hair then letting it sit for three to five minutes under a hair cap while I finish my shower. It leaves my hair incredibly shiny and so silky smooth. You can feel the nurturing ingredients as soon as you slide your fingers through the thick balm before you even put it in your hair. Its luxuriousness is absolutely amazing. No wonder your hair comes out thick and shiny when you’re done drying your hair. It’s formulated with almond oil and seventeen percent repair concentrate with protein for insanely intense repairing nourishment of your damaged hair. You should be able to feel the difference within the first few times that you treat your hair. The smell of this product is so amazing. I get complimented on my hair all the time. There is a floral blend, combined with the almond smell that is almost irresistible to other people. They won’t be able to help themselves from smelling your hair. It really does smell that good.In the guise of complete transparency, I do use the entire repairing system of products. I use the Elvive shampoo and conditioner – rarely, but I do, and this repairing balm. I believe that to have the best results, one should use the whole system of products if at all possible.I absolutely, positively, recommend this product to anyone looking to repair their hair.

My favorite deep conditioner
I color my dark brown hair a bright red, so I sustain a lot of damage in this quest for a fiery hie. Enter This deep conditioner. It brings my hair back to life! It's rich and creamy, and I put it on and leave it on with a plastic cap for up to 10 minutes. When I wash out my 4c red hair, it is soft and slippery and hydrated. I use this as an after-color conditioner as well and my hair never feels fried afterwards anymore. Love it!

Long term use worked wonders on my extremely damaged hair
If you have damaged hair....like REALLY damaged hair, then you will likely like this Total Repair balm. My hair is so damaged from bleaching it and then going back to dark hair, but then accidentally frying it again using a high-lift on it after it had been bleached out, that if I don't use tons of products in my hair every time I shower, my hair is brittle enough it will break off when drying it. I have to deep condition it, then use a heat protectant on it, then add some hair conditioning lotion to it, then some light oil mist to it. All just so that when I dry it and then flat iron it, it doesn't break off (any more) and can look normal until I wash it again.I've stripped everything from my hair, and have been in repair mode now for over a year trying to grow out everything I've damaged. Sections of my hair won't even hold color any more. They are forever blond even though my natural hair color is dark brown. So all I can so while growing it out is try and work with my damaged hair to make it smooth and not break off.I've used a lot of deep conditioners on my hair and at this point only "deep" conditioners work at all for me. Regular conditioners do nothing. So the kind of conditioners that are designed more for weekly use, I use every other day. I've found one of my favorites is Pantene Pro-V Weekly Rehab Creme but it's always out of stock (for Prime) and the tube is really small. So since I can't usually find it, I ordered this L'Oreal balm to try and I found it works just as well and you get a whole lot more product. It works wonders for my hair and with regular use it's got my hair into a state where it's not feeling nearly as damaged. It's not feeling brittle and it has my hair feeling smooth and normal/undamaged again. I've been using this a little more than a month and I'm thrilled with the long term effects it's had on my hair. This balm works wonderful. Love it!

Pleasant smell but..
I do love the smell. For me, I find it pleasant. It’s not too perfume like but enough for it to smell nice when putting it in your hair. I’ve applied this a couple of times when showering and it makes my hair soft during the process when washing it off BUT, after rinsing it off and brushing my hair while air drying it (I try not to blow dry my hair due to damage) it leaves my hair dryer and coarse for some reason. It doesn’t seem to be repairing and nourishing my hair. My hair feels more damaged. So this doesn’t seem to work for me. I’m sure for others it may work, but for my type of hair, it’s a no.

Leaves my hair feeling and looking healthy
Use it every 3 days and it leaves my highlighted hair soft and beautiful. The photo of the product isn’t what you’ll receive. I will attach picture of what I received. But I am happy with my purchase and have ordered it twice.

Works AWESOME if you don’t overdo it
It works great if you use it once a week or less. Using it too often can make your hair brittle because of **PROTEIN OVERLOAD**. A Google search for Protein Overload says that excessive use of protein treatments can make hair dry, rough, and more prone to breakage.

a must know
This is a long one but it has so be said, I ordered this item based off the image and its NOT THE SAME AS IMAGE, so when i got it i assume they sent the wrong one so i asked for another, I ended up getting the same and was going to return both due to that but i decided to try it first AND BOY IM GLAD I DID ... my hair is heavy damaged and never in my 35 year life have i been able to handle deep conditioning due to it leaving my hair heavy and oily but this doesnt do it AT ALL! i tried it on just the tips first time and it was so nice! next decided to do it my entire head after shampoo and leave it for about an hour or 2 and OMG ! my dead hair couldnt have been happier! i was so excited i told my mom and ordered another and had it sent to her house because she had to get in on this lol... so yes i reccomend product but had to knock it stars for not actually being the real product in image

Great!
This one makes my damaged hair silky, easy to comb and manageable. Scent is not too overpowering. Great for the price. Repeat buyer.
