I bent my needle plate which made it very difficult for the fabric to love through the machine. This sorted it out easily.

I was really hesitant on this I'm not going to lie. But due to the other positive reviews I tried it out and it has worked amazingly! It fit my machine perfectly, was easy to change out, and now my machine is sewing better than ever! Thank you thank you and I will be saving this for when I have to order another in the future.

Exact size I needed to fit my Singer Heavy Duty 4452. I had tried going into a local fabric store to find one but the employee had no clue what I was talking about and tried to direct me to the sewing vendor who was already gone for the day. Found this on Amazon, said it fit my style machine so I grabbed it and I'll be darned, exact fit. Now, I can keep sewing without the thread snagging and breaking!

This solved a problem we had with the bobbin thread bunching up under the plate. It fit perfectly on our singer 4423. Thank you!

Easy to install. Fixed the problem of my machine immediately as I had suspected. If your bobbin thread is getting caught underneath and looping - check to see that you have not created snags on the metal. Just from sewing heavy materials I have messed up my plate. Inexpensive fix to an expensive machine.

Busted my plate running over the end of an upholstery zipper…oops. This was a perfect match and sense to be just like the original manufacturer

The media could not be loaded. It looks ALMOST exactly like the right size, but part of the interior black plastic piece is a tiny bit too tall and as a result, the thread gets caught and won’t sew.I sort of resolved this by taking apart my old one and swapping the inside pieces, which helped since it was the metal top that I mostly needed to replace, but it still doesn’t quite fit right. I’ll have to buy another one.It’s an extremely subtle difference and it took me ages to figure out why the thread wouldn’t feed.Photos are of the old plate with the new underside, and the new plate with the old underside. In the last photo, I’ve used pins to point at the difference between the two undersides.
