Cheap enough, high quality, very versatile
These STRATHMORE BLANK WATERCOLOR POSTCARDS (pad of 15) are great! They serve the purpose very well. One side is completely blank; the other is formatted with conventional message and address lines for mailing. At a "mere" 4 x 6 inches (ca. 10 by 15 cm), they meet the USPS regulations for a domestic postcard and thus postage is about fifteen cents cheaper than letter rate. Color is white but not blindingly so, texture that slightly coarse feel somewhat like construction paper, but not enough to impede writing or art. They are acid-free and thick enough for watercolors of all kind. I just used my first one for a freehand pen-and-pencil sketch of Chicago's skyline -- they're more than thick enough to survive the rigors of Postrossing, something I can't always claim for all preprinted "art" postcards. While they are not super cheap, the price here is a significant discount from retail and given their versatility, I have a feeling I'll go through my first pad of fifteen fairly quickly. Enthusiastic recommendation.

Will buy again/long-time user of Strathmore papers
Quality paper, holds ink and watercolor well. If I mail the cards, I prefer creating envelopes for them so the Post Office's equipment doesn't damage them. Great for creating unique place cards or miniature pictures. I've never used them in a printer so I can't tell you how well they'd hold up or if they'd leave residue (paper lint) behind in the printer itself which has been a problem when I used heavier (non-card stock) paper in my color laser printer. For hand-crafted art work, I think they are very good. Like most paper, it is possible to damage the surface by heavy scratching, but I have a light touch with pen and ink so scratching up the surface hasn't been a problem. Holds a wash well and doesn't warp unless I use too much water. Then I usually place a blank sheet of paper and a heavy book on it to flatten it back into shape while it dries.

Send original art - quality watercolor postcard
These will be a staple in my supplies. I have used them time and time again to send cards to friends and family. They love receiving the personalized art work. The paper quality is great as far as I'm concerned - perhaps a bit stiffer than the 9x12 pad I have. It seems to take more water to prewet this paper. But considering they are meant to be mailed, stiffer is a good thing. The important thing is that I notice no difference in the watercolors on these and my usual 140# paper.Since they're going in the US mail system, I seal them with a clear acrylic spray. They've arrived in good shape. But if you are really concerned that the artwork is protected, buy some envelopes.I plan to use these to create unique holiday art for each of my peeps on my mailing list and for those, I will probably buy envelopes.. I'm looking forward to this project.Great fun to have.

Great for making unique postcards!
Easy to use, nice mailing size, thick paper that holds up to getting very wet with paints. I have mailed many of these postcards out to friends around the world. They look good and the colors are well-represented.

Pretty good
Pros: No bleed through, handles a wide range of mediums well, doesn’t gunk up your felt tips with fibers too bad, has a “postcard” template on the back that actually makes it feel like a postcard and not a random drawing you stuck a stamp on.Con’s: the off-white of the paper makes for duller colors, the textures a little gritty and it soaks up a lot, so you’ll use more ink/paint/color than with a smoother grit and colors/lines come out less even.Overall: good for casual project (for the price), gets the job done, and the cards come out really easily, which I wasn’t sure if that’s a pro, or con because sometimes they come loose unintentionally (adhesive weakens in heat, I was in an RV)

A must buy item for those wishing to create your own personalized gifts or thank you cards.
These Strathmore blank water color postcards are excellent gifts, having given one to each member of my water color class. They are also wonderful paper CARDS for painting a quick thank you note to family and friends, especially following a recent birthday, where I was given an Amazon gift card by both my brothers. I would highly recommend this to anyone, whether you are a beginning student or more advanced. The quality of the paper seems better than other Strathmore watercolor paper, as it takes the removal of pigment using a q-tip better than most paper. My paintings have been too nice to mail them as a postcard like they are intended, so I would advise placing the postcards in a padded envelope, and use the back of the cards to write in the date your painting was completed, and colors of paint used, and the location, if it was from a place you visited.

Thick, texture paper
This is a great stack of textured postcards. I know it's meant for watercolor painting but I sketch places i've been and then go over my sketches with a sharpie before sending them. The paper is thick enough that the ink doesn't bleed through, and they're fun to send personalized post cards to people! Not to mention, the paper is more of an off-white, cream color instead of bright white, giving it a more antiquated look. These are fun, and a great price for how many you get in a stack (:

Hey! Cadê meus envelopes?
A qualidade do papel é boa. Será muito bom fazer desenhos para presentear os amigos, mas o anúncio promete envelopes que simplesmente não acompanham os papéis. Não vou devolver por isso, o preço ainda é bom, mas a descrição poderia e deveria ser alterada.

Arrived Damaged
One of the corners were all bunched up, making most of the cards unusable.

Positively surprised!
Even though its not a cotton paper, I was able to achieve great wet on wet results. It didn't even buckle. Not sure about multiple layers though...
