GustBuster Metro 43-Inch Automatic Umbrella (BullsEye Black/White)

After going through two umbrellas in a week just walking the windy streets of Boston, I broke down and shelled out the $$ for this baby. Yes, it's a little pricey, and yes, it's too big to fit into my handbag, and just a wee bit on the heavier side, but these are the only reasons for the 4 stars instead of 5.Through many windy, blustery rainstorms, this umbrella has held up like no other, and even better than I expected. It has not failed, even once. It has great coverage, cute colors, and even sounds a bit like a helicopter when the wind is really blowing a gale :). Never once has it turned inside out.I'm so impressed, I'm buying the full-size model to keep at home. Now if only they would make a mini purse-friendly model......

The design works as advertised in wind and rain so that's good. It is probably too small for a person carrying any sort of over-the-shoulder bag. I had hoped it was the right size but this one is just not quite big enough and found myself getting wet. The handle is cheap plastic that has already cracked and the handle loop is cheaply made; would have been better with shock cord like many other small umbrellas. Overall, it's OK, but nothing special.

I love it and feel that it will stay up in high winds while in bad storms but I wish it was larger--covering a larger radius. Guess I didn't realize what size would be most useful.

It was so crappy.... It was heavy, and the metal parts start sticking out because the plastic handle broke after the first few months. This was such a disappointing purchase for me and I would not recommend it anyone else.

This is my second. I lost my first one, which was purple. What a great umbrella. Really keeps you dry. The carry pouch with the strap is awesome. It's not too heavy and it doesn't turn inside out in the wind. The metro size is big without hitting people in midtown Manhattan.

No need to worry about strong winds and watching your umbrella break amidst the heavy downpour. This can withstand really strong winds and heavy rains. I love how it came with a sling bag-type of sleeve. Only downside is that it's heavier than the conventional folding/foldable umbrella. A little pricey though, but it's worth it! This is my 3rd Gustbuster, keeping this one as a spare. Have one at home and in my car.

the reason it is getting three stars is because the handle seemed way too short and it did not have an automatic close button.

EXTRA STURDY AND DEFINITELY A BETTER UMBRELLA THAN ANY OF THE ONES I HAVE. IT HAS HELD UP WELL DURING WINDY RAIN STORMS.
