Utopia Kitchen Bib Aprons Bulk, 2 Pack Aprons, White

In the photo, the white aprons looked thin and flimsy to me. In real life, these aprons are heavy duty fabric, and look high quality and durable. I am pleasantly surprised. If you are petite, this apron is NOT for you--unless you make some simple modifications. I bought these to use for my mother (elderly, petite--and messy eater). Eventually, I will cut the neck strap and attach Velcro strips to make the neck strap adjustable. For now, I put the apron on her and use a small bag clip to shorten the neck strap while she has it on. (Ingenious!) I also plan to shorten the aprons for her. I will either cut the bottom to a shorter length and sew a new hem; or I'll just fold it under and sew up or use Velcro strips. The non-permanent solutions will make the aprons adjustable for all of us to use, if necessary. I gave it 5 stars, because these aprons are great quality AND look good.. I can't fault the commercial restaurant aprons for being too large for a 5ft 2in old woman! I'm still looking for the perfect aprons--at a reasonable price. I bought the 2-pack white aprons for $7.99. At $4 per apron, this was a rather low-risk purchase. AND for only $4 per apron, I don't mind having to make a few adjustments to it. **If anyone can recommend an inexpensive, comparable apron--which is smaller and/or has adjustable neck strap--please let me know.

I recently purchased these aprons of white poly cotton and am so pleased! The quality of the fabric is wonderful! Cool, crisp, and super white. The fit is good. I'm a small person and they fit me well. I think the generic size will work well for most people. The first time I wore one, I splattered tomato sauce all over myself! I didn't wash it until the end of the day. I did use a pre-treatment (Shout) and it came out of the dryer looking brand new. When I need to purchase more aprons, these are what I will buy. Good quality, inexpensive, and I know what I'm buying.

Nice apron, appears to be of good quality. I suspect it will make it through many washings. I think the white will take bleaching for cleanliness and appearance. The ties are wrap around so it can be knotted in front, instead of trying to make a knot behind your back. Pocket is small as mentioned in other reviews. But who needs a big pocket in an apron? Grandma? It will hold an instant read thermometer and a pen or two. Pleased I ordered this.

The price was sure right for these (2/<8 bucks). They are a sturdy fabric. The crease down the center stays after washing (haven't tried ironing) and I am embroidering on the bib of one. This is a good, solid apron for the price. The fabric seems fairly thick, closely woven. I haven't worn one since I purchased them as gifts. No pockets, sturdy ties, good size. I plan to buy more to decorate/tie dye for gifts.

I bought these aprons for use as props in a play actually, where the actors are performing surgery on a patient in an operating room. As part of the costume, they work great. The fabric is a good thickness and the apron doesn't feel flimsy at all. We've only used fake blood with them, but they do a great job protecting the rest of the costumes from bleed through, etc. After the show (and a few washes), I'll probably use them for cooking.

Two nice white aprons for only a few bucks! My first job was in a kitchen and I remember always wearing an apron. You never had to worry about getting your clothes dirty or a place to white yours hands. It was great. So why haven’t I ever used one at home until now?! Glad I purchased these. They’re well made and fit great too. I’m roughly 5’ 8” and 150lbs. The tie strings wrap right around me so I can tie in The front easily.

UPDATE: After just a few washings the fabric has "pilled " badly, and feels quite rough to the touch. I still love the design, size, ties, but the manufacturer should have used cotton! I am so pleased with these aprons. I purchased them to replace my 30 year-old old Williams-Sonoma cotton aprons which were beginning to really show their age. I bought two different cotton styles before ordering these polyester ones, but they fit poorly and were too short. So happy I bought these. The fabric is actually quite nice with a weave that mimics cotton. The aprons are long, and wide enough to cover my sides. The long wraparound ties are of the same fabric, but narrow enough to be able to tie and untie easily. Laundering is easy. I got a lot of grease spatters on mine, and it all came out without pretreatment, and no wrinkles! The overall quality is excellent. This apron does not have a pocket, but that doesn't bother me. I can't recall ever using the pocket in the ones I wore for so long.

I bought these aprons for my brother and I to wear during a cooking competition. We won and that was due, no doubt, to the latent culinary power woven into the fabric of the aprons. I suspect a food wizard enchanted these. I thought the value was good as you get two aprons. And they are quality; didn't fray, long enough, long cord to tie around my ample middle food-storage area and like I said... we won the competition.

I bought these for my vinyl designs, they came out of the package barely creased & the HTV worked on it like a treat. I think these will fit most adults from small to XXXL without a problem. Nice, soft white aprons, just about to order some more.
