Litop 11inch Rainbow Gradient Silicone Keyboard Cover Skin for APPle MacBook Air 11"

Just got my cover today, and it fits my MacBook Air 11" perfectly. As another reviewer stated, one must be careful when selecting these covers because the top row on the keyboard is different on different models. My MacBook Air is quite new. I had replaced a four-year old MacBook Pro, that was still going strong, but I like the idea of a smaller laptop with no moving parts. So I bought this one (and love it). But, it has no CD drive or an "eject" button for other devices. So, this cover worked for me because it is meant for a keyboard without the eject button. So, before you order, carefully examine the top row of your keyboard and make sure it aligns with the cover.All that being said, this cover fits nicely and while it has a different feel to it than the original keys, it is a comfortable feel. It's very easy to type with and I can still see the backlights through the cover. I have the Robin's Egg Blue and White Color. It's blue around the outer keys and white in the center keys. I liked that color scheme because the contrast between the two colors emphasizes the main keys from all the "function" keys such as shift, space, tab, etc. The track pad is not covered.I don't type any differently at all, and I thought I'd have to get used to the different feel of it, but not so.The reason I bought it is because I often work while eating lunch and I was concerned I might get food particles inside the computer. I think this cover will provide some protection from that. I know it's not a perfect solution, but better than none.This review may be updated later based on the wear and tear of the cover, but right now, I'm very pleased.

First the pros: (1) the material is amazing! Very soft and smooth. (2) Nice and light. Thin enough that you can feel the keys underneath. (3) True to color. The blue was actually blue.The cons: (1) does not lay flat on keys. I bought this to help keep cat hair out of my keys and to add a dash of cute. Delivered on the latter, but not the former. The edge by the space bar does not lay flat and never has. Initially I thought it would flatten out over time but no such luck. This means that I have to keep a close eye that no cat hair slips underneath. (2) Leaves a sticky residue on keys. After months and months of use, I realized there is now a faint sticky residue on the top of my keys. It does come off but on the times I do not want to use the keyboard cover and don't have the time to clean them first, touching them has become a little uncomfortable.Honestly, it is a great keyboard cover. Missed out on at least four stars due to the bubbling. My main purpose to keep cat hair from slipping in is barely being met.

While in a public area or a coffee shop, its great to have, to keep food and spillage from ruining the laptop. Since the keyboard helps with heat dispersion, I recommend not to have this covering the keyboard during a gaming session or when you're doing intense processing. As it actually does get the laptop to overheat and shut down. Also, at night, the great thing about the Macbooks are the illuminated keyboard to see. Unfortunately, this particular cover blocks all of the light coming from the keyboard.I was hoping the letters on the cover were transparent, but they are not.

I thought I was going to have to give this product 1 star, given how it was delivered. It came in a small brown padded envelope, much smaller than I would have thought. When I opened the package, the piece was folded over 4 times in order to fit into the envelope. However, once I opened it from it's cellophane packaging, it just fell into place. I can't tell that it was even folded over. It seems to withstand some initial keyboarding, but the print is on the outside of the film and not 'encased' on the inside. Some of the keys are getting a bit dirty just by typing, and I'm going to predict that some of the keys will lose their number/letter sooner than later. But, for the price, I can't ask for a whole lot more.

Works as intended; it keeps my keys clean and the surface free of any crumbs and stuff. It looks really good and it fits my laptop's keys (2014 MBA 11') perfectly. However, decided to give it 4 stars instead of 5 for one HUGE reason: some of the symbols on the skin don't align with the laptop's symbols. It's extremely annoying and it throws my OCD off. Check for yourself in the pics I attached. The backlight also does't bleed through very well, so it makes night usage kinda annoying.Other than that I mean I bought it to keep my laptop clean, and the keys are still legible so it's not a huge loss. Annoying yeah, but still great.

As a designer and creative, I’m always looking for computer accessories that are not ones that you see everywhere. These keyboard covers have a dual purpose of keeping my keys protected and clean while also adding a unique look to the keyboard. It has the custom look of those stickers you can buy for your keys but is much easier to remove. This particular one fits the keyboard of my 11” MacBook Air perfectly, keeps the keys protected while they type exactly the same as before - and it brings a cool ombré effect to my computer that I love. Once it’s in place, it stays there so you don’t have to worry about it sliding off the keys or causing mistyping. I’ve not had it for too long, but it appears to be holding up quite well so far.

Fits perfectly on my Mac Book Air! The picture is true to the color. The letters don't line up with the lights on the keyboard though. If you don't keep your keyboard lit, you'll never see it, but it bugs me a little. The sides of the cover are clear to let the lighted keyboard show through so I can still type in the dark. The texture is very soft. It was a little hard to type on for the first day since it was a bit stiff, but it was easy to break it in and is awesome now!
