FANTASTIC airbrush upgrade!
I am pretty new to airbrushes. I bought a "starter" airbrush and compressor, which served me pretty well for a few months of learning and practice with my mini painting (40k). But that airbrush required a LOT of fiddling to keep it flowing. Sometimes I had to stop in the middle of a painting session to clean the airbrush and get good flow back. That is NOT the case with this bad boy! I just throw paint in the cup and it works until I'm done! Great coverage, great control for how much paint I want to spray at a time. It's a great upgrade for me! For the experienced airbrushers out there, I'm not sure how this will stack up to the $100+ brushes. But for hobbyists, this is a reliable workhorse that gives great results! Well worth the money to upgrade!

Good So Far
So far this airbrush has been excellent! It's so pecise and easy to use. I love it!

Very nice and consistent airbrush.
I LOVE this airbrush! I use it for watercolor & acrylic artwork and find with correctly thinned paint it never clogs. It is SO easy to clean with 3 or 4 spray throughs of airbrush cleaner between paint changes, and on the one occasion I took it apart for a deep clean the interior was absolutely spotless. You have to be careful & patient when taking it apart as it's not that easy to reassemble, but after 5 or 6 practice runs I'm comfortable with the process now. It's very flexible in usage as well because while the needle isn't the thinnest out there, with the right air compressor pressure and holding the airbrush close to the painting surface I've been able to paint relatively consistent thin lines, while obviously retaining the broader coverage when held further away and adjusting the compressor pressure. Iawata has a reputation for high quality and this airbrush certainly perpetuates that reputation.

Awesome worth every penny
I am a hobbiest with an intrest in learning the art of airbrushing. So I purchased the Iwata Neo after I purchase a few off brand cheap airbrush spray guns. Please please please trust me on this, the cheaper ones will work ...IF..... you dont care what your project will look like ,you dont mind dealing with gun clogging or only being able to spray watered down paints . The Neo solved all my problems I was having ,thinking it was me doing something wrong. I am a newbie to airbrushing and still am learning the very basics. What I do know is this gun works great, I can now spray any paint I choose without over thinning , very minimal clogging if any, consistent spray pattern and pretty decent results (for my skill level). The neo cleans very easy compared to others Ive used, So far I have only painted items without any fine detail , I use to paint the same using spray cans with ok results but never again. Here are some benifits why : Pros : You can choose and mix any color you want, water base paints have very low to no odor at all, 2oz of paint will cover more than a can of spray paint so its cost and space effective, the quality of your paint job is much more proffesional looking. The sky is the limit in what you can do with this airbrush gun. Cons :I find myself wanting to paint anything that isnt moving lol. Final thought : if your looking to get into airbrushing or just curious about using a moderately priced gun over the $20 guns, buy a Iwata Neo you wont be disappointed. No I dont work for or will I recieve anything from anyone for leaving such a positive review , I just feel its that good and what a difference it made for me and what I use it for. Buy one and enjoy your hobby or trade again!

A really great Airbrush for beginners
As someone getting into airbrushing quite recently, this airbrush was a decent choice, works really well easy to disassemble and clean. Havent face any issues so far, would recommend people get the cleaning kit with additional needle and corresponding needle nozzle. Note this piece does not come with a quick release adaptor, highly recommend that anyone get the quick release adaptor and it is a must.

Wow, what an airbrush for under $70
First off, I am not new to airbrushes and come from using Paasche siphon VL. I wanted a siphon feed to reduce the PSI needed to spray my 3D printed models and wanted something of good value and not too expensive. I found the Iwata Neo and the Neo does not disappoint at all. The airbrush build quality is first notch. The finish is very good all the way around and the trigger is very smooth out of the box. The best part is that it comes with a removable cup to aid in cleaning and for when you need large volume. I run this with Tamiya acrylics at about 15psi. I could go lower but 15 seems to be a nice middle ground for my needs. The fine needle allows you good control on the detail work and the spray is super even IMHO. The only negative I have and this is not a negative for 99% of users. When you want to lay down massive amounts of paint over a large area - the Neo isn't good for that type of work. For just blasting a large surface, I would go back to the Paasche VL for that. Grab a quick connect and a it will pretty much mount to any hose. Right now, I have one QC on the Badger Patriot, Paasche VL and the Iwata Neo. I have 1 hose and 1 QC for all 3. The Neo is so good, I picked up a backup. Parts - well, you will have to get them online. There are no stores near me that carry spare parts. Amazon is your friend.

Perfect for beginners
Very good construction for the price and perfect for beginners if your first starting into airbrushing, I do not recommend getting a $15 airbrush you’re going to hate life. This Iwata is very good.

Also 5 Sterne weil gerechtfertigt nach meiner Meinung

Iwata Neo is what most experts consider to be a cheap entry level Air Brush, the advice they give is to ignore the Brushes you get free with Compressors. They really arent any good and I'll explain why here. The difference between a cheap Chinese Air Brush and a real entry level Brush like the Neo is the trigger gives you full control over air and paint flow, from 0% to 100%, it is very sensitive and handles paints far better, unlike like the Chinese ones that give you 50% to 100% with constant blockages and problems and substandard results. That means the Neo gives you more control, less blockages, better paint flow yet is considered an entry level Air Brush. It does not mean fine detail work though, you need to paint £100s more for that, they tend to be high end and expensive. Trouble is, the Neo being so sensitive, requires a little practice to get used too. Its far too easy to pull the trigger back and put too much paint on your model. It really is a precision instrument compared to the Chinese brushes, if not to the high end brushes. So practice on paper first, get a feel for that trigger, learn how much pressure is needed for each task. Then enjoy your new Brush. PS all standard tubing connections from cheaper air brush kits appear to fit the Neo too. So those parts can still be used.
