Does a riding mower get bouncy with the gaps or will it load smoothly? I read 3.5 inch gap. Thanks

Both our old Ariens 42" Hydro Riding Mower and newer Cub Cadet ZT2 zero turn ride up and down this ramp with ease, even in the pouring rain. Our yard gets more bouncy than this ramp.

What is the ramp open widths where the tires roll?

Thank you for your inquiry. The gap between the treads is 3.5 inches. Please let me know if you have any questions. Jason, CargoSmart customer support 845-295-9215

anyone put plywood on top?

No. It is a try-fold, so I fold mine up when I store it.
